    Line up confirmed...

No prices out yet. I can only see about 4 or 5 that you can put a definitive line through, so on the face of it it looks quite competitive. Best skater usually wins on DOI, which makes it more straightforward (but less fun!) than the others.

    A few prices out now.

The two front runners look like worthy favourites - Jennifer Ellison is a trained dancer, while Matt Wolfenden used to be a gymnast.

His price of 5/1 sticks out as a bit of value - the gymnastic base will be perfect for the lifts/spins etc.

Can stick a line through Whyment, Morse, Tilton, and Hawkes might not even be taking part.

Nixon admitted in an interview he hasn't tried any lists/spins yet in training which roughly translates as not being all that good yet, while Mark stated that he has tried some lifts and spins so out of the two looks a more enticing prospect at 14/1.

Foucan can't speak much English which will probably count him out long term - Alcott should be good on the ice but I dont think she comes across well enough.

Oldies are usually no-nos but perhaps Conley is different - much fitter/more agile than the usual wrinklies. I'd want more than 20/1 though.

Anyway, if you can get anything significant on the 5/1 on Wolfenden then I'd get stuck in.

Looks like some folks already have as Matthew's been bet into 9/2 since this tweet appeared...

Dancing On Ice: 3/1 Jennifer Ellison, 9/2 Chemmy Alcott, 5/1 Mathew Wolfenden, 6/1 Heidi Range, 9/1 Andy Akinwolere..cash for Matt Wolfen

A couple of Bettingzone Market News Updates:

1320: William Hill and Sky Bet are the latest firms to comment on this year's renewal of Dancing On Ice and both report money for Jennifer Ellison.

Sky Bet PR manager Helen Jacon said: "Jennifer is the early favourite as she has danced from an early age and could have become a ballet star if it wasn't for her acting career.

"She will have natural balance and flexibility, but second favourite Matthew Wolfenden will also have an advantage over the field as he was a former gymnast.

"Both of them also have experienced partners that will stand them in good stead in the competition."

Offering a clue to punters, William Hill's Rupert Adams said: "There has been a load of early money for Jennifer, we hear that she is putting in twelve hour days and seriously impressing in training."

Coral are now clear best when it comes to the favourite's price in offering 4/1, while they and William Hill are 5/1 about Matthew.

Heidi Range and Chemmy Alcott are both 7/1 chances and it's 9s bar.

1210: Jennifer Ellison is the standout 7/2 favourite to be this year's ice queen and win Dancing on Ice.

The former Brookside star heads the early betting for the skating extravaganza followed by Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden, a 5/1 shout with William Hill and Sky Bet, while Heidi Range of Sugababe fame is 6/1 with the same firms.

Paddy Power are also betting on the first skater to fall in their official routine with Eastenders' Big Mo, Laila Morse, the 4/1 favourite followed by Chesney Hawkes at 5/1.

Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: "The women dominate the top of the early betting as they usually have it easier on Dancing On Ice than the men by not having to do the lifts and throws.

"However there are a few names in the list with some sporting prowess which could make things interesting."

    Today's Bettingzone Market News:

1325: Matthew Wolfenden is now the 10/3 joint-favourite to win Dancing On Ice with William Hill, but perhaps surprisingly the biggest move today has been for Chico who was originally quoted at 33/1 and is already down to 16/1 with the firm.

"Chico proved astonishingly popular during his stint in the X Factor and a decent number of our customers think he is in with a chance here," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

Wolfenden is a general 7/2 chance elsewhere, the same price available about Jennifer Ellison.

Chemmy Alcott has attracted a bit of money and is a standout 13/2 third-favourite with Sky Bet, and it's now 10/1 bar this trio.

    Chesney Hawkes out, Chico in.

This is going to be on in my house every week so i've risked the cost of a packet of fags on it.

    Sebastien Foucan @ 14/1
    Andy Akinwolere @ 14/1

I dont mind watching this year as i've just fallen in love with Vicky Ogden, the chick skating with Kirk :inlove

Hmmm. Jennifer Ellison's skating partner is injured and if he doesn't recover in time for Sunday, she won't be skating with a different professional skater it seems.

    https://twitter.com/#!/Jelliofficial/status/156392830594580480

I haven't seen the show but judging by Twitter reactions then Matthew Wolfenden's the one to beat (I assume his price has collapsed like a stone and everyone else is skating for second place now) and women don't like Chemmy Alcott and Jorgie Porter for some reason.

EDIT: I somehow missed the Bettingzone Market Update:

1225: Having been as big as 16/1 when the betting opened, Jorgie Porter is 15/8 favourite for Dancing On Ice after impressing the judges with her first effort.

That's ahead of 3/1 chance Matthew Wolfenden, who was popular with punters in the week, and 6/1 chances Jennifer Ellison and Chemmy Alcott.

    Today's Bettingzone Market News:

1520: William Hill have seen money for Laila Morse to get the boot from Dancing On Ice and she has been cut from 4/1 to 7/2 to go on Sunday. The firm are 6/1 that she takes a tumble during her first live dance and 100/1 that she wins the show.

“Our customers were not impressed by Laila's skating and think she might even take a tumble on Sunday night. Amazingly they think that Corey Feldman could be even worse and he is the favourite to go," said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

I completely forgot about this as Mark Rhodes was around 10/1 fourth favourite to be eliminated ahead of Corey Feldman, Rosemary Conley and Charlene Tilton yesterday.

He lost out 3-0 against Charlene Tilton.

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s101.../mark-rhodes-third-out-of-dancing-on-ice.html

They're keeping Corey Feldman in as this year's villain/light relief and he's non-UK so that's a bonus for the producers.

Matthew Wolfenden still edges ahead of Jorgie Porter in terms of favouritism with only Chico anywhere near 'em in the outright odds to win.

EDIT: I've somehow lost a week. Andy Akinwolere lost out to Heidi Range in the first week?

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s101...akinwolere-first-to-leave-dancing-on-ice.html

I'll try and be bothered enough to post up the odds like I usually do with these type of shows but it's a bit hard to care when you haven't got a clue who the producers want to get rid of and a feeling that it isn't all on the up-and-up.

It's a bit dispiriting like that...look at the sheer 'unpredictability' of the latest 'Celebrity Big Brother' over on Five. The most weird results ever with bookies and shysters who must be cashing in like crazy with that manipulated bollocks.

    Today's Bettingzone Market Update:

1255: The latest odds from William Hill suggest that Dancing On Ice is already a two horse race.

Matthew Wolfenden is currently ahead by a nose at 5/4 but Jorgie Porter is hot on his heels at 6/4.

"They might as well have the dance off now, we cannot see anyone getting anywhere near either Mathew or Jorgie!" said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

Chico is next at 10/1 with Boylesports, while Sebastien Foucan is 16/1 with the same firm and it's 25/1 bar.

I'm surprised there's been money on Jorgie Porter to win. Today's Bettingzone Market News:

1315: In the world of reality TV betting, William Hill report they have a new favourite for ITV skating show Dancing On Ice.
Jorgie Porter is now at the head of their market at 5/4 having replaced long-standing favourite Matthew Wolfenden, who is now offered at 11/8.

"There has been money for Jorgie all week, she must be on fire in training this week," said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
Blue Square have also shortened Porter today and now have both skaters at 11/8.

Hollyoaks actress Porter is generally available at 6/4, while Emmerdale star Wolfenden is a best of 13/8 with Betfred.

    Today's Bettingzone Market News:

1520: Rosemary Conley is odds-on across the board to be booted off ITV reality show Dancing On Ice this weekend.
She's no better than 8/11 (totesport, Betfred) to be the next skater eliminated from the programme.

Sam Nixon is next best at 3/1 (Sky Bet).

In the outright betting, Jorgie Porter remains at the head of the market - totesport and Betfred will give you 6/5 - while Matthew Wolfenden is th second favourite at 2/1 (bodog).

    Yesterday's Bettingzone Market Updates:

1130: Dancing On Ice is hotting up and Jorgie Porter is now the odds on favourite to win at a general 8/11, whilst Matthew Wolfenden is second favourite at 100/30 with Bodog and Coral.

The next elimination market is even closer with Heidi Range and Sam Nixon inseparable at 2/1.

"This is the first week there has not been a stand out favourite for the boot and both Sam and Heidi are in a fight for survival on Sunday," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

    =============

If it's Heidi vs. Sam in the skate-off, I'd assume there'll be some pressure from producers to keep Heidi in. Y'can't have three women in a row eliminated...or can you!?

Oh, there's a double elimination tonight? Odds from Sky Bet on that as well as who'll win the show:
