I might be tempted with Hull. They got boo'd off the pitch on Friday night losing 1-0 to Blackpool but they played ok but just couldn't score and this is a chance to find their scoring boots

I agree Kegs, i'm tempted with a Hull and Ipswich double @ 11/10.

I'm also tempted to take Sheff Wed at home to Blackpool @ 13/8 too, the tangerines are going to get spanked somewhere this season the way they push everyone forward, i felt they were very lucky to keep a clean sheet against Hull, but i'll hold back for a day or two before deciding for sure, it is the 1st round of the carling Cup afterall.

West Ham will (apparently) be fielding a stong side against Aldershot tomorrow - mainly players who are substitutes and reserves pushing for a starting place. We're slightly better then when we got ripped apart 3-0 by Watford last year, but they were a class above anything we can put out. The 2/5 for the Hammers is probably a bit generous, I think.

Aldershot have one out and a question mark over another but I don't expect that to significantly weaken us.

I won't be betting on the game as it's a 'wait for team news' type match, and I'll be there enjoying our big night. West Ham -0.75 at 1/2 (Bet365) might end up being the way to go.

No bets for me tonight, unless there's some surprising team news - the shout of Hull might be an exception. Macc were tough away from home last year, but they're weaker now and of course up against a better side.

Obviously, the short priced home favourites should all ease through unless they play the youth side. MK Dons at evens away at Cheltenham looks a good bet of the Dons play a full team. I particularly like the look of Port Vale at 13/5 with Hills if Huddersfield rest players

Huddersfield seem to have made five changes from Saturday. Vale/draw double chance is 8/11. I don't know enough about Huddersfield to risk it though. Maybe I'll have the smallest possible punt for interest.

MK Dons seem to have a strong team out. I've minimised the risk and gone small DNB at 4/11 as this cup is too difficult to predict.

That one seems to be coming off. Sorry for posting it late - the teams came up on the BBC late.
