I've not caught any games yet.

I've been watching a fair bit of MLS lately and a bit of the Womens World Cup too. They're pretty much on par with each other in terms of class lol. I'd say both are on par with the English League 2.

Payday on Monday, i'll probably have a patriotic fiver on us.

No I watched the athletics from Russia at the weekend but haven't time to watch the football. As far as the U21 Championships is concerned I always know we're in trouble when England's performance depends on a player not being injured(come on guys how many males are under 21 in England)-in this case Saido Berahino and John Stones.

I'm watching it and it's the most boring game I've seen this year. All I've heard on the radio and TV is how England are ready and capable of going a long way this year. The bits I've seen have been shite. Don't think they've had a meaningful attack in over an hour

Spot on, I'd had enough, i couldn't watch anymore and i sent myself off to bed on 38 minutes.
Norway were bossing it at the time, surprised to see an England win this morning.

I watched the second half , the passing was inconsistant by both teams , you get a good pass then the next player can't make a five yard pass. The pitch looks twice the size of pitches in this country ,as it takes ages for the players to get from the half way line to defend the edge of their box. The winning goal looked good but I suppose if you get the shot on target you've got a great chance of a goal!

The commentary was terrible to listen to , after the winning goal he said that England were defending "like Germany did in the World Cup " and he even mentioned Barca . From the 80th minute onwards it looked as if they were at walking pace.

Good luck to them in the next round

I see that they are playing Canada @ 00:30 Sunday , It will be difficult to watch the whole game at that hour after a few beers

Delighted with the signing of Roberto Firmino, bought back down to earth tonight watching Danny Ings.

I didn't even know England scored, must have been a late one because I turned it over with a few mins to go watching the Portugese playing keepsy while the Swedes were jogging on the spot watching.

Ings could be playing until this time tomorrow and still won't have scored, saying that, that guy on the left Garbutt I think his name was didn't help matters by just crossing balls blindly by not even looking up to see who the fcuk he was crossing to.

Anyone watching the womens semi final tonight ?

Does anyone agree with the bbc that we should have had a penalty ?

The one that was given, or are they saying there was another one we should've had?

The one we were given looked a blatant dive to me, although I only saw the replay during the 1st half, so don't know if they showed anything else at half-time from a different angle.

Didn't think Japan's penalty should've been given either, the foul looked just outside the box to me.
