Delighted to get Milner, Sterling will be a City player before the window shuts.

Would be good to see his agent die of aids.

I agree Punt because I don't think Sterling is worth half the amount being touted.

Milner won't let you down, but if he and You's think he's Gerrard's replacement then there will be some sad faces come September.
He'll end up in the same roll as he played for city, out on the left cutting in and laying off a decent cross every now and again for a goal.
Then disappear for a couple of games.

Milner's got a great attitude and on his day can change a game but more often than not is just a spectator, hence usually ending up on then bench, he's a great squad member though who commands respect of all around him.

Sterlings now saying its cos of rodgers he wants out, something has happened there, he isnt even that good for all this drama.

Rodgers 4/1 first manager to be sacked, with those first 8 away games that could be a cracking price

No one will be Gerrards replacement Slick, impossible task. They'll do ok without him, not much more, he'll be back as manager soon.

One of the main reasons for joining Liverpool, Milner was guaranteed regular football and in the middle of the pitch, his favoured position. I always thought he was better as you mentioned, out on the left. But it'll be interesting to see him in the middle with the likes of Henderson (new team captain) and Emre Can. All are both holding or attacking midfielders on any given day. Having skillful players like Coutinho and Firmino head of them gives me more confidence on the attacking front this coming season.

If Liverpool had any sense they would have swapped Sterling for Dzeko plus cash, midfield is the last of their worries; it's putting it in the onion bag where they fell short last season hence their midfielders pushing too far forward and getting caught out.

Dzeko's a cracking player if you give him support (Funnily enough Sterling and Dzeko would have probably worked) so the swapping bit becomes a bit of a nonsense I know.

Could Danny Ings have an effect? I don't know because he's only had one yr in the prem and tapered off once he got a name for himself, Dzeko can score against anybody on his day.

looking at Brendas signings, he seems to be buying prospects rather than the finished article hoping to strike it lucky, I won't include Milner in that because he got him on a free and doubt very much he would have bought him had there been a fee involved.

Another concern of mine if I were a Liverpool fan would be Mignolet who's shite and a disaster waiting to happen, so who do they bring in?... Bogdan who's also shite and a disaster waiting to happen.

lol, I started this post to put an argument against Howsons 'first prem manager to be sacked' post, but the more I think about it the more I think he may be right.

You don't want to see him in the middle Punt, I've seen every chance he's had at City to play in that position and the next game he ends up on the bench.
When you're struggling and need a goal then by all means shove him where you want in midfield and he'll come up trumps going forward but during normal play he's lost as a central midfielder and looks like a fish out of water.

I don't like knocking Milner because he was one of my favourite City players due to his work rate but when you look at the positions City need to change to get to the next level, Milner was one of the ones that had to go.
So if that's not good enough for City then it's definitely not good enough for Liverpool, considering he thinks he'll be playing every game.

I had a bit of distressing news a few minutes ago.
Mr Howson has just removed me from his list of players that he is watching.
I guess it's because he considers me no threat to his title hopes.
I am gutted but have become even more determined to best him this season.

I'll go see how many i have in the paid league...

I noticed that as well but on a positive side, those who have entered the Malvern League are genuine players and not those who sign on and don't do anything.

I thought I had entered all the leagues, If It wasn't for Howson telling me I was in none of them yesterday; I would have been none the wiser.
I put the codes in yesterday although I was pretty sure I did it a week or so ago, this age thing is playing havoc with me.

I've also noticed Bakesy hasn't entered yet, I'll give him a couple of days the give him a bell.

I am in a state of shock. The anti-Malvern graffiti written across the previous photo has been removed and not replaced.
Has Katy moved out of the town, have the tin cars stopped being produced, have the water springs dried up and more importantly has Kop66 moved to Merseyside?

I believe Kop is saving up to move to Southport as that's where most koppites move to at his age, either that or a council house in Toxteth.

I'm stopping here. I'm going to die here. Have my ashes scattered on the hills. Or... my body left out for the bin men, depending on the mood of the Mrs. I like it here, beer is never far away.

Big debate on having cable cars to The Beacon, down here at present.

    http://www.malvern-for-all.com/

The Conservators are dead against though. Both sides have strong cases.

    I remain open on it.

If i had my way i'd just have a huge 'MALVERN' sign across The Hills, proper Hollywood style.

And with just one game to go this Gameweek, my score will end up a minus whatever the result.
