Having a few here. Ireland and Serbia both look decent prices in gmaes that the should win. Also taking Scotland +1.5 @ 2.42 on the Asian HC, and having a 4fold with Columbia DNB

My bet is Bulgaria - Wales double chance Draw or Wales win... Currently the situation in the Bulgarian national team is very very bad...Scandals after scandals and bad atmosphere.Disapinting result after result and a temporal manager...

Had to pile in on the short priced home acca (something I never normally do)

Croatia @ 1/6 to bt Latvia
Turkey @ 1/7 to bt Azerbaijan
Norway @ 2/9 to bt Cyprus
    Italy @ 1/6 to bt N Ireland
Spain @ 1/5 to bt Scotland

Indeed Bulgaria struggle to score this group also - BUT Wales have a few out and are pretty poor away. No bet game

All that puts me off Ireland is that the RP and BZ both tip Armenia to win or draw, and they do have some decent recent scores. Also Rep drawn 4 of their last 6 0-0, the other 2 being 2-0 wins. Think Armenia need a win, so itll be tight for a long time.

And the only reason Serbia are odds on away is because theyre saying its bent. Though not friendly countries as such, the bloodlines are very close as they used to be the same country, and lots of the slovenian team have changed their surnames from Serbian ones to slovenian ones. But their 1st names remain Serbian. The thinking is that Slovenia will give Serbia the win to put them in the playoffs. If true, and its a big if, the 4/5 should be 1/10, but if its a straight game its an awful price. Serbia are very dour, dont score many goals, and are away from home (so to speak).

Austria look a good price in all honesty, but I didnt have time to research the team news properly. Basically Kazhakstan are very poor ,scoring just 6 and conceding 24, losing 7 of 8 games. Austria have some good recent form, and their only real dissapointing result in their last 8-9 games was the 2-6 away to Germany, and Germany ALWAYS maul Austria so thats expected. The rest of the performances were very decent, and if they play a half decent starting 11 they`ll have far too much for the outclassed Kazhaks. If Austria win, theyll miss the playoffs by 1pt, wheras the Kazhaks are cut adrift, and I was sorely tempted to take the single win @ 1.80 rather than my acca (above), but decided against due to not having team news when I was at the bookies.

I think we can't expect, especially in international games, that some team will give up or give other team points. At the moment situation in Slovenia isn't good. For sure the midfield's line is poor lately, only few players've been showing good form recently. Slovenia don't create so many chances. People think if the team plays for nothing then in their minds we won't find any motivation but it's not true and Slovenia in my eyes can surprise. Despite this Serbian has more quality in squad so I don't see any sure favourite - current odds lost a value so no bet.

About Bulgaria - Wales. At the moment is too late to bet. Asian line at the beginning was on -0.75/+0.75, at the moment is -0.25/+0.25 and still is dropping. My friend from Bulgaria said that his team is in big crisis and he doesn't see their victory against Wales. Expected are many changes in lineup. Wales propably won't lose this one but as I wrote above - value has gone.

I think Switzerland should win, Montenegro without few key players, they reached a qualify to Euro, coach will put few reserve players on the field, for Switzerland it's a match for their supporters and honor, so far they looked at home better than on road. In few bookies you can still take over 1.60 for Swiss win. GL

I think Spain will, unfortunately, beat Scotland without breaking much sweat (by a couple of goals at least). I just can't see how our horrible, wobbly, slow, clumsy, defence is equipped to keep out a team like Spain (even a Spain resting a few players). Liechtenstein could have scored a couple against us which says it all really.

Scotland will almost certainly be playing most of the game with everyone behind the ball, camped on the edge of our own box and although even the best sides can struggle to create much against two walls of human flesh, a Scotland clean sheet is pretty close to miracle territory. As is Scotland managing to ever get forward to score. We may have a slight threat from set pieces and it's possible Spain will be a little, "casual" having already romped to qualification with a, so far, 100% record but they'll still batter us I think.

And if the Czechs are winning in Lithuania then we'll be forced to go for it *shudder* I'm really worried about hard core humiliation. :cry

Spain to win to nil for me. 1.85 @ william hill I see. Tentative bet for me.

I suppose too, the Czechs have to be considered to win in Lithuania. Bah.
Lithuania can be stuffy but they really do suck ass. Maybe throwing in some young players is a plus for them but it's really hard to see the Czechs fucking up such an important match.

Czech Republic @ 1.60 Bet365 - Those odds look horrid, I know. It's likely a draw will do them but that's a hell of a dangerous game for them to play so I can't see them messing about.

And for the record, I'll probably do cartwheels if Lithuania beat them. :)

If anyone is thinking of doing this,I suggest doing 2-0 on betfair at 7s,savers on 1-0 and 3-0 and a wee,wee saver on 4-0 just in case!

Well well well well, what a turn up for the books. Ireland prevented from going to the world cup finals by a handball not given and now they look like going through with a handball not being given against their striker and the keeper sent off for a handball that never was.

    You couldn't make it up.[IMG]
