Week 2 of The Christmas Cup and Slick just holds the lead at the half way point. Well done Slick.

The Old Tomcat is kicking on in the League, well done Tomcat. Howson and Mark Tipton are this weeks biggest scorers with 80pts each, well done you's twos.

    All to play for still.

Spunked my banker chip on Chelsea again this weekend. That's minus 60pts in the past fortnight. Wankers.

And that could well be the case if ODM can pull it off. Bottom of the Betnod Premier League before this weeks scores, he's finding form at the right time, 2nd only to Mick Sorahan. Well done fellas, two good scores in what was a very poor week for the rest of us.
One week left in the competition, good luck to you all.

Not too much change in the league, The Old Tomcat continues to lead the way, Rcgills did manage to claw back 25pts on him and is still very much in touch, Mick Sorahan puts down a marker, Slick and Kegman are also very much in the title race....

With just one game left, i think it's safe to congratulate Mick Sorahan on winning this years Christmas Cup prize of £120, unless anyone in close attendance has their banker chip left?

Confirmation that Mick Sorahan is the 2015 Christmas Cup winner with 235pts, well done Mick!

Mick is a rep at my works and was the CL runner up last season. I’m not sure if you read in here Mick but if you do I’ll be popping your £120 winnings into reception on Thursday.

On to league form and The Old Tomcat still sits relatively comfortably at the top.I’m also going to say well done to Mark Tipton, Kegman, Graham Ellison, Mick Sorahan and Adam Dovey, who were the only players to score 50 or more points. This weeks top scorer was Adam with 95pts and this also makes him this weeks biggest climber, up 6 places to 11th

What a tough season eh? I’m beginning to wonder if Rcgills 175pts will get beaten! But there is a golden opportunity for someone to do just that in two weeks time, gameweek 18, where there is a double set of fixtures. It also happens to be the next £50 Super Saturday. Good luck to you all.

Tough isn't the word, The Banker Bonus keeps pissing me off, seem's everytime a favourite goes down and it looks like you might get a break, so does everybody elses, all the so called 'easy picks' seem to go down together.

I better do my picks now because the lads from work are out on the lash on Friday which is when I usually do mine, No need for Howson to do the same mind because he's cried off, he says he's at the Market on Saturday so he can't make it the puff.

Tell me about it. 3 in a row now I've lost. Trouble I think is that this season you can't rely on the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd or Man City like you'd normally expect to be able to. FFS, it's coming to something when there's an x3 bonus available on Chelsea at home to Sunderland and I'm scared to use it on them because I don't trust them.

Well done to Mick Sorahan, well deserved with the scores he was getting in the last couple of weeks where most of us were dropping points left, right and centre.

As for the highest weekly score, I reckon I still stand a chance, Punter. Normally you'd think in a double set of fixtures someone would surely beat it, but basically someone's got to put 2 good rounds together - they'll need the equivalent of 2 consecutive 90pt+ weeks, but with just one banker and one insurance chip to help them, which makes it a bit trickier still. And the fixtures look tricky too, I can only really see three fixtures which look pretty clear cut (and even then, we know what's been happening to them lately) - City v Sunderland, Spurs v Norwich and Arsenal v Bournemouth.

Not saying no-one will beat it, they could well do, but I reckon I still stand a decent chance. Is this the last double set of fixtures Punter?

I'm not sure Rc, there are 38 premier league sets of fixtures, but only 36 gameweeks on IKTS. Have we already had one double set? I cant remember, maybe there is one more after gameweek 18?

Well done to anyone scoring plus points this week, especially Andrew Symmonds, who managed to land the maximum 90pts for a correct banker call on the Newcastle/Villa game. He top scored with 65pts this week. Nice one Andy.

Another tough week in the main though, some big minus points. Kop66 continues to play like he's on Crystal Meth' and is now bottom of the table.

Gameweek 18 this weekend coming and another reminder that this double set of fixtures is also a "£50 Super Saturday".

Good luck to you all and Happy Christmas.

Nice one Punter :clap. I got that Man Utd v Chelsea score right, would never have dreamed of making it my banker though.

I see you've not used your insurance yet either, reckon that tips the balance in your favour for the overall highest score, you just need to call the other match correctly and you're there.

Anyway, I can't complain too much, I've just gone top of the league :naughty

It was the only one i changed! I had it down as a draw but went from 1-1 then to 0-0 with a few hours to spare, i think? Those extra 30pts have made a big difference.
It was never going to be a typical Utd/Chelsea game and i just thought it would sum up both teams season to date.

Good score yourself too, last seasons champion up in to 5th :thumb Title wide open imo.

Yes well done Rc, i had noticed you top but didn't want to mention it with still two games to go, for fear of kiss of death. Good day for the Gills too :thumb

I better go and check the scores i entered, as I'm still very capable of fucking this up.

Aye well done Punt, never in a million years would I shove my banker on a draw but they say luck favours the brave so nice one mate.

I see Howson's making a move now too up the leader board, I can see him pushing on further in the next few weeks now he's changed his tactics slightly (I've noticed buggerlugs lol) so could be one to watch.

And finally a big congratulations to RC who now sits on top of the league and I suppose a small commiseration to Newman who has finally been knocked off his perch although I do feel he'll be back.
That's the beauty of this comp, you can never become too complacent no matter what advantage you have because a big swing could be just around the corner.

That's it - game over, I've had my moment in the sun.
What an absolutely horrendous month I've had.
I've seen it with other players who build up an early lead and then struggle to make a play off place.
Well done Reggie in taking over top of table.
Still not all bad news FGR won yesterday and I won a bottle of wine at game, (but don't mention Torquay).

I'm not having that, Newman, you're just trying a bit of the old reverse psychology. A long way to go yet, you'll be back up there. Your rotten spell started one week after mine, I think, I fully expect you to snap out of it one week after me too.

Looks like I need Leicester or the draw then, with Punter on 3-1 to City and his insurance chip on the Liverpool game, any win for City guarantees Punter overtakes my 175pts. Even if City don't win, he'll still have the Liverpool game tomorrow for a final chance.

It's a tough game to call. I'm not expecting to beat your score and even if i do i've a feeling someone else will top that before the end of the season. I dont think i've seen it anything less than 210pts before. It is a funny old season though.

I'm thinking more with where the £50 Super Saturday is going tbh. I know Cleggy can share it with me but are there any remaining bankers to be played yet?

Can't be bothered to go through and check, but I'd be amazed if anyone looked at this round of fixtures and chose Sunderland v Liverpool as their banker :lol

    Good luck for tomorrow.
