    Odds from betfair

    In 1.47
    Out 3.05

Tends to imply the vote will 67% - 33%

Personally I think it will be closer :thinking

    Any thoughts ?

I'm not sure what you're saying there traeth. Are you saying that they may have picked the date partly because of that or are you sussgesting that they may have changed the fixtures since the date was announced (they haven't by the way)

By rights I shouldn't be replying to this thread, but it's a grubby little deal whose timetable is arranged more to minimize the divisions in the Conservative Party than concern for the national interest. I am minded to vote "No" simply to gainsay this Establishment trick, but am also mindful of a possible Turkish accession to the European Union, which is also leaning me towards a "No" vote, as any further screwing down of wages amongst the working classes would be thoroughly reprehensible.

    :thinking

    The vote is

    "In" the European Union

    or

    "Out" of the European union

And at the end of the day we know you are in favour - passionately in favour - of staying "in"

so what is this you are minded to vote "No" about:thinking

Have you changed your mind and now agree with me that we should leave :thumb

I am minded to leave because of this stage-managed deal we are supposed to fall in with, and also the wider issue is the Muslim menace, which I have come to realize is as dangerous to Western civilization as Communism was in the Cold War period.

Too much power in the hands of too few people is a dangerous thing

If we vote to stay in Europe we will be in danger of giving too much power to unelected people

And Yes we will continue to get "grubby deals" which attempt to pull the wool over our eyes

Therefore "Leave" is in our best interests.

At least we can try to control our own "Sir Humphreys"

We cannot control the Brussels equivalents

With less than a week gone since deciding to have a vote I'm fed up with the coverage, we have another four months to go . It will be a platform for the xenophobic politicians.

I'm looking forward to the Euro 2016 with Wales qualifying . The first time they have qualified properly for an international tournament.

p.s. I detest the made up word "brexit"

I don't know how Stephen Kinnock can look Port Talbot steelmakers in the face, when he is drawing his MPs salary, his wife was Prime Minister of Denmark and his parents are known as Lord and Lady Expenses.

Nigel Farage puts the case for withdrawl clearly in layman's terms. One cannot help but wonder about the causes of the 2010 plane crash, which nearly killed him.

In now 1.38 - out 3.6 on betfair

There is a good article in Wetherspoons "spring 2016" magazine about Leaving the EU

I also find the odds strange as the "leave" campaign seems to have made the best case so far

I can only put that down to Galloway joining Farage and these two being seen as the face of the "leave" campaign:thinking
