Portugal v Poland will be a draw, probably 0-0.

Wales v Northern Ireland was a shit frustrating game for me, but i respect them in they did what they had to do. Every game is different.

Didn't see Croatia v Portugal due to a family do but by the sound of it another negative/cautious approach again?

I reckon they'll make us tournament favourites if we beat Iceland by more than two goals on Monday then. Unbeaten and the better team in all three games so far. I wouldn't rule us out.

Still Germany more likely though. World Cup winners and not a huge amount has changed. They'll get there by not being that impressive till the quarters onwards.

Well we won't be playing Italy or Spain in the QFs, and unless they buck their ideas up considerably in the 2nd half, it's not going to be France either

    Yeah, I meant SF's !

Agree, France are looking a bit clueless here. Would be no real surprise to see ROI grab another on the break.

lol, yes i was pissed and talking shit last night.
I think what i was trying to put over is that if all games were as slow/cautious as the opening games had been and England beat Iceland by a comfortable score then more of the patriotic money would come in for us and the bookies would cut us a to a silly price.

Just what I was going to say. The bookies could make England 2/1 favs and some daft cunts would still back 'em.

After a shaky start (v Italy), Belgium are looking good. Refreshing to see an open game for a change.

Italy are also starting to motor and looking a very organised outfit, the game against Germany should be a cracker.

England are shit !!! I can't believe i thought they would turn it around against a team still playing in the 80's.

Do you think Hart will be dropped for the quarters ? No wonder all the other home nations hate your commentators.

What a shambles, thank fcuk the fans knew what to expect:lol

Nobody listens to the commentators Keggers, we all know what arseholes they are, nobody apart from them were presuming England were on the way to the quarters.

    On the other hand -

It is quite amusing watching failed english players of the past pass judgement on the current bunch of failed english players

If they tried to defend them they'd be slated for sticking up for them. You can't have it both ways, they were utter wank and deserve to be told that they were utter wank.

Time to be sensible - closed out my positions and I'm all green now

Good luck to those who laid Portugal at 21.00 :thumb

Risky as it seemed, but might turn out good. Wales without Ramsey are beatable and then it's either Germany or probably France. There lies the real challenge though :p

I'm heading off towards Lyon tomorrow. Most of the faithful fans from this town have arrived back home skint but are heading out towards Lyon by various means - not the easiest place to get to. Not many of us believed that we would get this far , before the first match I would have settled for finishing third and qualifying for the last sixteen. Now we are one match away from the final and the expectation is getting to the whole nation.
I am really happy with our success. and glad that I was proved wrong about Coleman . A month ago I would have settled for Wales in the semis and I'm proud of all the boys in how we've done.
