Apart from the very short odds on favs this week in the Prem i.e. Utd and Spuds and possibly City away (although I wouldn't touch any team on the road at those odds), I don't see anything I'd feel confident on putting money on.

Worst weekend of the season betting wise for me by a country mile.

I'd have to agree. I'm touching nothing in the Prem. Fancy Sheff Wed at those odds and possibly a long overdue win for Sunderland in the Championship, but only with small stakes.

I'd back anyone against Burton at the moment so I agree with the Sunderland pick. Boro and Wolves were my picks for promotion at the start of the season (tho hardly at big odds) and I think we will see a Boro surge in coming weeks (especially against and unconvincing Derby). Chesterfield have had a mini revival but a local derby today at Mansfield looks like a bridge too far and my head says that there's a draw (and a sending off) coming up in today's game.

I went for a Barnsley Leeds draw and, while you can never be confident when backing a draw because so much hangs in the balance, I think that will be the result today.

I've got to back Forest (because I hate them) and I've got to back Palace to try (in vain) to stop them reaching the miserly points total that Derby "achieved" to take the record from them. Watched Stoke the other day and they aren't convincing.

Doncaster should beat MK (although they've drifted out to 11/10 rather than the 4/5 showing in the Komp odds earlier in the week so I don't know what the story is there.

The Liverpool Chelsea game is fascinating and I couldn't pick a winner. Given everything that's been said about the comparison between Pool's attacking and defensive capabilities, what price a 0-0 draw? I'm glad you asked! It varies between 8/1 and 15/1 with the bookies and about 15/1 with betfair.

I think Newcastle will beat Watford. Great display by Watford last week with a man of the match performance (in my eyes) by Will Hughes. That's not DCFC blinkers by any means. I've been arguing with Derby fans for three or more years that he was the most overrated player in the championship and one good game last week hasn't convinced me otherwise.

Everton are shit, no doubt about that but their price is too big at Soton. You can get even money double chance for them to get at least a draw and I'm taking some of that.

Burnley look a big price @ 4.33's, I'd have thought the odds for this match would be a lot closer.

I agree Slick, i might hit that tomorrow.

I'm taking Palace with a single @ 3.10 and also taking BetVictors 5.00 about a sending off in that game, tonight.
