11.45 Turffontein - LILY STARLETTE - First thought was the unraced BOSS BABE, but just too short for me at 5's. LS was Pretty solid up until last time, but would have needed that and certainly better judged on earlier efforts. Arguably vulnerable to the lighter raced sorts, but still plenty of EW appeal at 14's.

12.20 Turffontein - POKEMON SHUFFLE - For me, this is his best trip and whilst no world beater, does look an honest sort at 14's.

12.55 Turffontein - ARPAD - Genuine outsider, but does have ability and best runs have been under this jockey at 40's.

1.30 Turffontein - DIVA FAUSTINA - Took a while getting out the maidens, but h'cap debut suggests his mark is workable and does look to hold an EW chance at 16's.

11.45 - Adding a small EW on OLD OAK at 100's

1.20 Newbury - DRUMNADROCHIT - Stable could do with being a shade livelier, but to nicely bred for me to ignore at 66's.

1.40 Nottingham - Going with 3 here, all at EW prices -

4.35 Newbury - OPTIMUM TIME - Different headgear today and step up in trip looks fine. Shade big for me at 14's.

8.35 Leopardstown - UNIVERSAL FOCUS - Remains in fair form and 12's could prove generous.

9.15 Uttoxeter - MARMALADE MIST and DIAMOND ROSE at 25's and 33's respectively.

Win for Lily Starlette yesterday, but not a lot else. Was 14's though so paid for the day.

2.35 Sandown - ARBUCKLE - Gelded and up in trip for 3rd start. Probably waiting for nurseries, but could not resist the 100's

2.55 York - MY UKULELE - Hinted at ability in 2 starts to date and should be up to this sort of company at 16's.

3.30 York - HOLIDAY MAGIC - Lurking on a nice mark and does hold some fair big field form at 33's.

5.40 Fairyhouse - CAVA - Stable in very good form and this debutante looks nicely bred at 25's

6.35 Goodwood - KHORRAMSHAHA - Possible improver at 80's, though JUNGLE JUICE is the more sensible one at 6's.

Joined you on this one Punt. Always tough for older horses in maiden company, but had a go regardless. Also adding SMASHED and POINT OF HONOUR for a fancy combination forecast

7.50 Greyville - SHEET WEAVER - Outside of this thread, but ought to go well at 6's.

8.20 Greyville - NIGHT LOCK - Poor last time, but always a threat on the Poly and remains fairly weighted at 25's.

Win for CAVA yesterday, along with FAIR ANTONIA dead heating for 1st

9.35 Sha - Tin - XIANG BAI QI - Probably not the worst rag ever at 50's

Pretty good effort by XIANG BAI QI, who was 3rd in a very quick race, where the winner broke the course record for the grade. Gone with another outsider in the next.

10.10 Sha - Tin - GOLD LAND - Shade disappointing lately, but given a chance by the handicapper and does look worth a crack over the extra furlong today. Definite EW chance at 25's.

Last couple from HK, plus 2 South African meetings and Towcester dogs all live on ATTHERACES.

10.35 Turffontein - SAMURAI WARRIOR and PLAYHOUSE MOUSE - Pair of nicely bred debutante's at 25's and 40's respectively.

11.10 Turffontein - SNOWBALLED - Pair of " duck eggs " to date, but the form of last time has proved decent and does look a possible improver at 20's.

12.15 Turffontein - OCEANS PRIDE - Showed a bit more last time under this jockey and is the trainer's only runner on the card at 10's.

2.03 Turffontein - EFFORTLESS - First career effort over the minimum trip today and do feel it I worth the try and does possess enough speed to ( at worst ) lie handy. Definitely capable of getting involved at 20's

10.45 Sha - Tin - FEARLESS FIVE - Yet to trouble the judge in HK, but much better effort last time and has been gelded since that run. Certainly interesting at 25's

3.00 York - DURETTO - Probably has a bit to find in this company, but not enough to justify the 14's on offer.

3.25 Limerick - BORAGH STEPS - Well-below best at Listowel last out, but has plenty of ability and fair EW chance on old form at 20's.

4.15 Downpatrick - KILBREWS GOLD - Did not show a deal of hurdles, but was a winning Pointer, so likely to do better over fences. Significant jockey booking and ought to be thereabouts at 10's.

5.35 Goodwood - BEAR VALLEY - Tongue tie added on first start for new stable and hopefully the chance of scenery has refreshed him somewhat at 25's.

8.40 Leicester - PADDY A and CROQUEMBOUCHE - Gone with the 2 outsiders in this 7 run race as feel that neither has that much to find at 10's and 18's respectively.
