I'm really struggling to find any value outside the league. In the National, Salford and Billericay are rightly favourites for the National and National South, but both look too short. The relegation markets also look about right. One I have taken is Boreham Wood to be promoted at BetVic's 12/1; they're about 8/1 elsewhere. Wood are one of several moneyed clubs in the division and their chairman has indicated he's still going to be around. I can't see them as champions, but happy to back them for promotion and hedge assuming the make the play-offs, and if not it's less of a loss than the shorter 2/1 to be in the top seven.

I don't care what anyone says, Man City are a lay at that price and are sure to trade higher throughout the season. Crazy odds

I've also taken Macclesfield to be relegated from League Two at 4/1. They went up last season on a small budget and plenty of spirit. However, they've lost their manager and several top players, and I wonder how competitive they'll be this season.

Salford signing some players from a much higher level than National League, inc Adam Rooney from Aberdeen, think the price is a bit short at 9/4, but theyve got the money to keep buying, and paying high wages.

A lot of talk about Forest's signings in the close season but I hear negative rumblings from their pre-season friendlies. It always strikes me that the pre-season promotion odds are absolutely shocking but the pick of the rubbish below for me would have to be Leeds

At least you'll get a run for your money with Leeds, well up until about March lol if previous years are anything to go by.
They much be due a good full season though I admit.

Agree with Salford too, they're becoming the Man City of the national league, only thing they'll have to watch is other teams wanting to turn them over because of who they are and how they've got there, which could lead to a few injuries if they're not properly protected.

Cant believe Liverpool have been made 2nd fav's.

I'm not really Ante Post betting this season, the only price i'm looking out for is on Naby Keita for the PFA YPotY.
May have a punt on that if the price is right.

Hereford are 14/1 to win the Conference North. It's a big step and i wouldn't even take 66/1. Fingers crossed for the mighty whites to have a decent season though.

I can Punt, they weren't a million miles away last year once you's got up and running and the only team that looked like they could give City a run for their money.
You've bought some cracking players pre-season , non more so than a decent keeper which you've needed for years now.

It's impossible they'll all bed in straight away but more important than that they've given you much needed quality in depth to tackle more than one comp head on.

Me too, I've already put a lay of city in at odds on and Liverpool are the team I'll be backing early doors

    Spot On.
I wouldn't back any team to win the Prem at those odds even if they had Messi and Ronaldo in the team, more so considering all of Citys first team squad apart from Sane have been on WC duty during the summer.

Think Liverpool might run City close, but still think City will win the league, the strength in depth will be too much for everyone else - top 4 could be interesting this season, Spurs and Utd will be the teams most at risk of missing out, to Chelsea and Arsenal, with them both having new managers.

National League North looks interesting this year, and I'll be rooting for Hereford without investing anything; I agree with Punter they look too short.

In the Championship I'm on Benik Afobe as top scorer at Laddies' 9/1. He's experienced and proven at this level, should play most games, and in Stoke is playing for a team who should do well. Sadly the bookies agree and have him favourite too, but 9/1 gives enough options to hedge if necessary.

It’s fair to say that Man City’s title winning 100 point haul and league record in the 17/18 campaign has ensured favouritism, priced at 4/6 (1.66) to defend their title with bet365.

Liverpool enjoyed an exciting season despite crashing out of the Champions League Final and who’d have expected Mo Salah to bag the Golden Boot with a record 32 league goals. A huge summer spending spree has made them surprise contenders for the league at 4/1 (5.00).

The Egyptian King is 5/1 (6.00) for this season’s Golden Boot but it’s Harry Kane who’s expected to win that accolade at 5/2 (3.50). There’s no doubt that 13/2 (7.50) shows tremendous value for Aubamayang who notched 10 goals from 12 starts for Arsenal since his January move.

It’s Chelsea whom have a habit of winning the Premier League title under new management however, so perhaps history will repeat itself under new boss Maurizio Sarri in the absence of Champions League football, showing value at 12/1 (13.00).

I’d be a layer of Harry at those prices. Way too low and even if God had a word in my ear and said that he was going to get thru the season injury-free and would see out the whole season without transfer speculation there are still far too many players who can pop up and score more than he does.

Liverpool have got some squad this season and should give City a run for their money. Although i never saw the charity shield at the weekend by all accounts City looked good against a poor Chelsea team.

City have a tough opener away to Arse but if they bag 3 points then they could lead pillar to post.

Read a Spurs fans views on a blog and he didn't seem too concerned that they haven't added to their squad - top 4 looks nailed on for them again.

Don't know what's happening with Man Ure - will they replace Pogba if he goes ? He was shit last season so will he be missed ?

Not heard anymore about Hazard leaving Chelsea but buying in a new keeper 3 days before season starts is pretty shit imo. Courtois was always going to be leaving so why wait until the end of transfer window beats me.

City to win, Liverpool runners up and it to be close with Arse and Spurs for 3rd and 4th.

Man Ure and Chelsea too much going on and will battle out Europa League places with most likely West Ham (if their new signings gel)
