    Got three backed in this.

    D.Silva @ 3.6
    R.Sterling @ 21
    Fernandinho @ 41

At present it's hard to see outside of these three, for me. Aguero maybe? Happy with what i've got for now though.
Sterling is a cracking price. Not much 20/1 left

If he can sustain his 2018 form till May '19, he'll have every chance.

Awards aside, what's your thoughts on Harry Wilson?

I agree Punt, he's going from villain to hero in the media when in the past they've been crucifying him, I think he stands every chance if he keeps up his current form.

Save your money - I've got more chance of winning it than him.

Wilson is fucking brilliant mate. I just hope they can keep hold of him for the rest of the season cos it will be a massive loss if not. The lad will go far. I think both he and Mason Mount will be regular squad members in the prem' by this time next year, if not regular starters. If not for their parent clubs now, someone will snatch them up if they have any sense.

Apart from the goals he's scored for Derby, did you see his free kick for Wales the other week? He's worth a place in the side just for his free kicks but he's got so much more than that. Apart from that, he seems like a nice level-headed lad as well and fingers crossed he stays injury free I'd really like the lad to do well, wherever he moves to from Derby (unless he goes to Forest of course)

Sterling to come off the bench and score the winner tonight. Last scorer 11/2 Paddy P's

Good to hear about Wilson, seen some of his games and goals. He signed a long term contract in July. I'd love to see him back with us and getting games next season.

Virgil van Dijk could shit himself in the middle of the night and still wake up with a clean sheet.

I've had to back him for all stakes back @ 3/1

Decent shout Punt as he's getting all the plaudits at the moment although imo I think Robertson is by far the more stand out defender in his position, there are a few Centre backs who could run Van Dijk close but Robertson at left back is far ahead of anybody else at the moment in the Prem by a country mile, he's been fantastic this year as he was last but seems to go under the radar in the media.

All being said, has a defender ever won player of the year?

Robertson not even in the betting, which is amazing, considering Lukaku is.

Fernandinho still available @ 50/1, skybet. I'm not going to remind you again.

Fernandinho was amazing tonight Punt as was Bernardo who never stopped running all night, the wee man was even beating Van Dyke to headers lol.
Barring the tackle on Salah I thought Kompany was immense but it's too far into the season for him to be considered even if he plays from now until the end of it.

    Van Dyke now odds on.
Still too many ifs and buts for me unless Liverpool start to romp away with the title within the next few weeks.

When do they vote for PFA player of the year?

I've had some more on Silva since @ 7/1, also some on Salah too at 10/1

Cant see Liverpool or VVD keeping many clean sheets from now on, we're short on a partner for him, for a while. I wouldn't mind seeing Fabinho in there with him, despite him being a midfielder.

I think Salah is more likely to win than VVD, now.

I think the winner is announced around the middle of April

Middle of April means there's still a long way to go.

Which Silva are you on Punt, David or Bernardo because David has been a pretty much below par so far and played fewer games than usual, whereas Bernardo has come on leaps and bounds this season but yet again has had restricted appearances as have most City players due to Pep rotating players.
Sterling for City probably stands the most chance of winning POTY for City due to his amount of appearances but I have a feeling KDB is going to come strong in the second half of the season for City but whether he get's recognised due to him missing most of the first half of the season is another matter unless he has a huge impact and City win the league.

If not and Liverpool win the league then VVD looks the likely bet as odds are showing but I still think Robertson will be up there, if not the players but sports writers POTY.

David Silva. Bernado Silva is 100/1

Robertson not even in the betting. Weird that.

He's certainly become the new media darling since his racial abuse at Chelsea and knowing they had a large part to play in it.
Can't blame them for tonights abuse as it's part of Eastern European culture but I expect the media to give him more sympathy and love in.

I agree it looks like he could now be nailed on for player of the year.

    Van Dyke wins it.

Suppose there's arguments to be had but he's had a great season and completely changed the fortunes of this Liverpool side.

Also noticed Georgia Stanway has won the women's young player prize, I made up with that because for anybody who plays the Betnod IKTS comp, it's Cleggy's niece.

Yeah it could of gone either way.

Good to see a defender get it for a change. Paul Mcgrath ('93) and John Terry ('05) are the only two other defenders to have ever won it, i think?

VVD getting it has made me break even, a nice return considering i placed the bet a few months ago. Sterling could of won me a holiday but never mind.

    Well done Cleggy's niece.
