I didn't dust off this thread until 13th of Feb last year but, to be quite honest, I've just made so much money in the last week that I'm just going to bang 'em up and hope for the best.

Before I do, I'll just chuck a couple of names in to look out for. They may not all be great prices but Wind Storm should soon get a return having just been touched off tonight for a place by a short head at 14/1. My two others for today were Hermocrates which won in the first race after being put in the tracker and one from previous seasons Bollihope which also won.

I had a bizzare winner on Saturday in the shape of Renegade Master which was 13/2 on Friday night and ended up winning at 25/1. Yes that was a 25 I typed. Another profitable drifter was Benny and the Jets which doubled in price from 7/2 and promptly went in at 7/1.

Three hurdlers, Tedham won't be a great price next time out but should be worth following for a few races yet and Enola Gay looks in form after a good 2nd on Saturday. Suggestion is the other one.

Not going to get rich on tomorrow's prices but I'll put them up anyway. One recently in the tracker, ZIP 445 Newcastle, currently 9/2 with 7 runners so a win bet and a place bet on the exchanges tomorrow.

Two more from previous seasons, Punter will recognise Steps and Stairs 140 Bangor 11/4 and Cornborough 310 Ayr at 13/8

I expect one winner from the three so could just be just a break-even kind of day tomorrow. Hope for better prices later in the week.

One winner as predicted but luckily it was the best one of the three at 9/2 (SP 9/4 in the end) so a lovely little profit for day one.

Some good looking prospects tomorrow. Better put some stakes down. Today's bets would have made just 8.12 pts profit to a level stake so I'll settle for that, even though in reality I weighted my bets in favor of the latest tracker bet.

Fair mix tomorrow of ones I like from the all weather, ones from earlier in the flat season and recent jumpers and one (Gulliver) from 2016.

1250 Lingfield Axel Jacklin. Has been a bitter disappointment to me throughout the year and is one of the ones that has cost me the most money to follow. I would like to ditch it but the fact that there is money for it in the overnight market just won't let me let it go so 5pts ew 11/2

100 Doncaster. no price in this jumper but 12pts at 4/9

155 Beleaguerment 12 pts 11/4

230 Lingfield Court House Evens fav. Another one that I'm slightly behind following but hoping to get back in the black with with 15pts at evens

445 Kempton. Two selections in this one, Enchanting Man is the obvious favorite after two good performances to date but there are plenty with chances in this race so tomorrow may not be the day. 10pts at 2/1 and an anonymous run tomorrow (preferably with a good excuse or two) will hopefully see it out at a better price next time out. That may sound like strange logic to some but believe me, these are the patterns that I see time after time.

In the same race, Fox Kasper has also ran two decent races so far and is a far more appealing 10/1 tomorrow. If it were not for the fact that there were two flagged up in the race I may be tempted to increase my stakes on this one but as it is, I'll stick with the 5pts ew.

615 Gulliver The fact that he hasn't been put up in rating for his recent decent 2nd place (also 2nd on previous race) is a bonus in my view having been beaten by a horse now rated 10lbs superior being given just 3lbs advantage. Was well beaten by the winner there is no denying but the winner had control of the race and the pace all the way whereas this horse was rousted along for most of it. A different race tomorrow fingers crossed. Corinthia Knight the danger for me but 8/1 is a decent ew price and I'm taking the ew bet (5pts ew) rather than waiting for the place market to mature tomorrow as the price may be lower by midday tomorrow.

Axel Jacklin let me down again. Haven't watched the race yet so will make the final decision to commit it to the tracker after I do. In face, scrap that, I'll watch it now.

Mmmmm, reared in stalls and lost ground but was finishing fastest of all but the winner and could have easily given it a race if it had got away on terms. Still in the tracker (I'll go bust before it bloody wins!). -10 points

I forgot to put the name of the horse up in the 1oclock race (a regular habit) but there is only one 1/2 fav so there can be no doubt which one I intended and it duly obliged as it should do at that price. +10 points

Beleaguerment - If the post had been three strides further away it would have won and is definitely a keeper. -£10pts

Court House - Easily won what became a two horse race . Rule 4 meant a profit of +9.14 points

Good runs by Enchanting which grabbed 2nd in a photo but wasn't good enough to get to the front this time -10 pts

Two horses were crashed into when a horse left the stalls in the 700 race and veered violently left. Would you believe that Willowbrook and Pink Flamingo were two of the three so this run can be ignored for both and they may be better prices next time out as a result .

Kareena Kapour and Lady Alavesa both won. The overnight fav was pulled out of Lady Alavesa's race so I'll use the SP at 10pts to estimate returns. Rockpoint came nowhere so 72pts returned from 60 staked = profit of 12pts on day

As for today, I wouldn't advise anyone emptying the bank account on this big priced outsider of seven but a system is a system so here goes. Cool Spirit 5pt win 20/1 (and drifting) and 5pts for 3 places to make a profit of 18.56 points.

Golden Wolf runs in the 615 at Wolves. Backed at 25/1 last night but now as big as 40/1 with 5pts on 4 places to make 9.5pts

Better news Bollihope was 11/8 last night in the 745 (15pts) and is now odds on
