Normally congratulations would be due for a score like 9pts, but I'm not sure that backing a team at Monday's odds of 8/1 knowing that due to a players' strike they're going to be playing against a youth team and the current odds are far lower is really in the spirit of the competition. Sure, odds always fluctuate during the week based on team news and the like, but not to this extent. Strictly speaking, there was nothing in the rules to say it wasn't allowed, but the rules have now been updated and picks like this will be voided in future.
