Need to get my act together as I'm dropping like a sack of spuds.
Another double header next week which gives everybody a chance to try and beat the high score.

Don't know if anybody else bar Howson noticed but IKTS mucked up the ko times this weekend by having all the Saturday matches as 3pm kick offs.

They've done the same in the next set of fixtures (Gameweek 22) in what is the winter break, all matches are down as 3pm ko's for Satuday 8th Feb in what is a split set of fixtures.
Which at the moment means if the predictions are not filled in by then , then you're not going to be able to fill them in the following week.

Another nightmare from me, changed my Banker bonus late on Friday night (half pissed again) from Wolves due to their Europa league exploits onto Sheff U , fcuking bad mistake once more:lol

    Don't know why I keep doing it:banghead

Anyone know what the rules are regarding not playing the banker chip? Didn't play mine this week as I wasn't confident in any of the matches. I thought if you didn't play it, your bonus would be protected, but it's now showing mine as being back down to 0 :thinking

Can't find anything in the current rules, searching around online I've found something saying that "If you decide not to play your Banker your bonus will be protected but you will not score your bonus for that Gameweek", but it's from years ago, so with the move away from Talksport recently, maybe they've changed the rules?

I'm almost sure you retain Bonus. It is zero for this week if not used as in your case.
But I also cannot find rules and am only quoting previous years.

When I say it's showing mine as 0, I don't mean the bonus points on my score for this week, obviously that's got to be 0. I mean the bit with the chips where it shows you how many in a row you've got:

    banker.JPG

That's what makes me think they've reset mine. Will find out next weekend I guess.

In any case, if I'd known I had to use the banker, I would've lost it, the only two predictions I got right were the draw at Everton and Wolves to win, and I wouldn't have made either of those my banker. Even if they've taken away my bonus I've still gained some points by not using the banker, only scoring -10 on whichever game I'd chosen, rather than the -20 or -30 I would've got by using the banker.

That's what I presumed you meant.
I've always thought the 20 point Bonus (or whatever it may be) would carry over with you if you decide not to play it.

Something I don't understand in their example though - in week 5, the bonus should go up to +15, shouldn't it? If it was already +10 in week 3, week 4 it obviously stays unchanged due to not being used, but then if it's used correctly in week 5, that's 4 weeks in a row (leaving out the week where the banker wasn't played) that it's been used correctly, so surely it should go up by 5pts that week, not remain frozen again at the same level as before?

    You'd like to think so.
    I don't understand it either:thinking

Maybe that's what it means when it says ' but any potential bonus increase will be lost'

Maybe. Who knows. We'll find out next weekend, see how many points I get (just watch now as I fuck it up and place my banker on a losing selection :lol)
