Having a look at the odds on offer around BoJo and Dom.

First one that caught my eye is 5/2 on Cummings getting the boot before 1st June.

Apparently in the WhatsApp group of over 200 Tory MPs (fuck being in that group) only 3 are still supporting the government. That makes me think either he goes or:

Boris Johnson to be replaced as PM in 2020 now just 7/2, best price was 4/1 when I started typing this.

IMO one of these has to pass so I'm firing £20 on each

Theres also 8/11 Cummings goes on or before 1st JULY with the other side being 5/6.

I think if he goes it'll be sooner rather than later though

I think you're wrong Pete. Neither of those things has to happen. If Cummings stays, there will be no need for Boris to go (good to see a PM with some bollocks for a change). Saying that, I think people won't stop their whining until Cummings does go so where did you see the 8/11 on him going soon?

I Can't see anything happening until all this shite is over unless the economy is well and truly fcuked then Boris will be first trying to get out of the door.
It's not the people whining about Cummings it's the media, they smell blood and won't give up until he gets the boot.
After today's statement by Boris though I'll be very surprised it it happens before June 1st.

Saying that I remember Sturgeon doing something similar and soon backtracking and sacking her chief medical officer when the media turned up the heat and swayed public opinion.

Two things Slick. Sturgeon is not Boris. The Jock CMO wasn’t THE most important person in the Scottish government.

I hope that's a joke. You can't seriously be suggesting that we should take ANY notice of anything printed by the Daily Mail. Ever?:roll:roll

And you're wrong on your first point. Sturgeon did go on live TV and back her, I saw her do it with my own eyes as she stood next to her. She said that she had made a mistake, granted but she backed her to keep her job and faced down the journalists questions. Then, later on that day, she did a U turn and sacked her.

I'm going to try to find any markets for Boris to keep his job. If the lemmins are lapping this shite up and taking it seriously, there is going to be money to be made and I'm in for a couple of grand if I get the chance.

Only reason I think the mail is interesting is that they're probably the most pro government of the tabloids.

Watching cummings press conference now and I think he's done very well, as long as there's nothing else that comes out after this then I think this is probably the end of it.

The press have made their minds up that they want blood mate. They're not going to leave it at that. First two headlines "I don't regret what I did" says Cummings. and "Dominic Cummings hasn't considered resigning". The fat old cunt on Sky is really twisting the knife in and won't let anyone put forward the other side of the story.

Same thing happened at Boris's press conference yesterday, no matter what subject Boris was trying to talk about every question came back concerning Cummings.

If Cummings does get the boot the media's next headlines would be 'Did Cummings deserve to go' they're a shower of cunts.

Aye that was the first thing I saw when I clicked onto BBC news. I think the real issue is that the press hate the guy and ALOT of Tory MPs hate the guy.

Looking on Facebook and Twitter and I think people might be angrier now than before it. Earlier today I was mostly seeing jokes and memes, now I'm seeing alot of angry rants. Perhaps as a reasonably sane person I'm out of touch with the majority of the country

Would they be the same press who were outside his house huddled together about 2 inches apart instead of 2 metres? Arseholes.

Exactly the same tonight after Boris's press conference, he was talking about going to phase two and opening various parts of retail and all the questions afterwards were about Cummings.

I wouldn't mind they were speaking to Cummings for about an hour earlier.

I'm not sure which is more galling...the Tory voters who are saying he did nothing wrong or the Labour voters who are acting as if no Labour MP (or Labour party advisor etc) would have ever done a similar thing (they already have).

All as bad as each other.
