Provisionally the 2019-20 season is set to resume on 17th June with two games that day.
Will the Betnod competition also continue?
If so I'm prepared to carry on putting up the Betnod league tables although personally have lost all interest in IKTS.
If members want to continue, I suggest that thought be given to the Champions League where normal Gameweek matches will be different than that on original fixture list.
My suggestion if Betnod competition does continue is that Champions League be cancelled and the £90 redistributed to main game.

If we are continuing with the comp, I don't see any reason why anything would need to change in terms of the Champions League. There was one more qualifying week left, that can be the first round of matches after the restart. Then semis were supposed to be 3 and 5 weeks later, and final 8 weeks later. Don't know what the new schedule is, whether there are plans for the matches to be finished in less than 8 weeks, if so then the schedule for the comp might need to be adjusted a bit, if not, then just stick with that schedule.

    How are discussions progressing?

The fixture list has been released and it seems there will be games played six days out of seven.
But only two games so far in Gameweek 26.
I am out of contention of winning any prize in either competition so am neutral in what happens.
But I feel that continuing the Champions League will be a mockery for a weekly competition: too many games in seven days and games having the possibility of being postponed if a player contracts CV19.
Whatever happens the Premiership [and our main game] will be completed even should any game be postponed.

I suggest that the £90 redistributed to main game as such:

    1st - £110 [+ £10]
    2nd - £60 [+ £10]
    3rd - £40
    4th - £30

    Anyone?

If it goes to a vote, I'd say to continue. Don't really see a problem with there being too many games in 7 days. If there are only 2 games in Week 26, then start in Week 27.

I'm easy either way though, happy to go with whatever the majority decide :thumb

Continue with the competition as it is for me, I wasnt aware that they had announced any dates for the remaining fixtures.

Looking at the table above OTC, I think youve still got a chance of finishing in the top 4 and thus getting into the semi finals, the only ones who probably arent in the running to make the semi finals are DiscoDan and Kegman.

Premier League fixtures resume on Wednesday 17th June for those in the IKTS comp.

Is the Betnod comp re-starting on weekend 20/21 June?, Premier League, Championship, La Liga and Serie A will have resumed by that weekend and the Bundesliga is already up and running.

Sorry Tom, for some reason I was thinking of the actual Champions League competition itself.

If you had the final round in week 27 rather than week 26 (only 2 games), there would be a double set of fixtures running from Friday 19th to Thursday 25th June, presuming that is how IKTS would run week 27 of the comp.

I think that would enable the entrants who arent currently in the play off places to have more of a chance of making it into the top 4 (20 games in total).

My error in not referring to it as "IKTS Champions League".
Slick made same assumption as yourself.
    Apologies to all.

It is not me who is running competition [I just type up results] and it is for someone else to determine what happens.
We all know semi's and final, previously programmed for Gameweeks 29, 31 & 34, cannot happen on those dates 'cause season has been truncated.
That was my thinking on original post and proposed resolution.

The Betnod comp has been scrapped mate.
Thought I had posted about it but I must have forgot.

The consensus in mods is that it's a total fcuk up as it stands and impossible to run with leagues already cancelled and the rest finishing at different times, including lots of midweek fixtures to get the leagues finished.

It's also the last week of the CL (gameweek 26)
Therefore we need to decide when the semis and final will be.

I'd say given the situation, the sooner we do them, the better. Gameweek 26 for the final qualifying matches, and semis to start the following week? Gameweek 27 has 10 matches scheduled, they've not listed anything beyond that for now. Assuming each week's going to have a minimum of 10 games, I'd say just play semi leg 1, semi leg 2 and final in succession in weeks 27, 28 and 29, no point faffing around leaving "rest" weeks between rounds.

I'd also suggest the following in the event that the virus returns and they're unable to complete the season:

Cancelled before semi 1st leg is played: CL prizes go to 1st and 2nd in the qualifying comp
Cancelled before semi 2nd leg is played: CL prizes go to the 2 winners of the 1st leg of the semis (top prize to the SF winner with the highest score, 2nd prize to the other SF winner)
Cancelled before final is played: CL top prize goes to whichever finalist gets the highest score in their semi, 2nd prize to the other finalist.

    Does that sound fair?

    Yip.
Apart from the games tomorrow I had them all filled in too from before the lock down, totally different view of those games now, more so Spurs who now have players back from Injury, at the time United would have wiped the floor with them.

Went to place my forecasts and found that Gameweek 26 had already been entered.
    Obviously done before lock-down.
Be interesting to see how good my forecasting skills were then as compared to now.
Likely to be less than good either way.
