Hiya Kop. I can't predict this fixture confidently anymore, can you?

We've been a little flattered by results in the last game or two and your lot have battered us at Anfield for the last few seasons. So on that basis a convincing 3-0 victory for United. :lol
Seriously though I'm probably expecting a few goals from both sides - cue the 0-0 boredraw (although I'd be happy with that to be honest).

Good luck though (yep, you're right. I don't mean it :wink )

The point I am making by referring to 8% as meagre is because its a FACT that there are some tipping services that also make 8% profit.
I am not comparing 8% with 0%,rather I am comparing 8% from working hard-which I take to mean at least 20 hours a week dealing with boring stats etc with 8% from doing nothing other than trusting somebody else.
Now,of course,as Wayne has already made clear, many people believe that paying for tips is...what..not "right"..or whatever.
Thats fine but its not my opinion.
To use the £6000 figure as an example(and I actually got this from a forum )-if you are working 30 hours a week to make that 6k then obviously your hourly rate is £4 an hour.it is THAT that is meagre.
OBVIOUSLY an 8% r.o.i is very good especially for football but NOT if you are spending a lot of time making it.
Time is the most valuable thing any of us possesses.....
I would like to end by emphasising that it would be utterly wrong for anyone to think that I dont realise that £6000 is a HUGE amount of money for the overwhelming majority of people in the world.
I am 50 years old and for nearly all my life I was utterly broke.
I remember as if it was yesterday my first big(at the time)win-£5000 and the difference it made to me......
and how DEVASTATED I was when a year later I lost it when Arsenal lost the uefa cup final on pens....
My mother died recently-she spent all her life cleaning other peoples houses.
Whatever else anyone thinks of me,and I repeat,I AM a cnut, please dont make the mistake of think I dont know the value of money.
INDEED ,it is because I DO know its value that I try to win people money.
and I do make money for people without asking anything in return....

You're beginning to sound like a spammer now. :lol
Can you explain how you do this please?

Are you going to take up Kop's (Punter) challenge then and start your own tipsters thread to prove your point?

BA - apologies for hogging your thread. :embarassed

One would assume that the red button labelled "Post New Thread" at the top right hand side of the forum would provide a useful clue in this instance.

Fair Lech's victory, they dominated more of the time, Korona were dangerous in fact counter attacks but it wasn't enough for home team.

    Friday: +10,38units

SC Toronto - York Region Shooters
    Pick: SC Toronto (-1.0) @ 1.78 188Bet *(1.60+) | MEDIUM STAKE 5 UNITS

In the first match of playoffs won YRS at home 1-0 with SC Toronto. As I wrote that time, SCT played without many key players (SC Toronto had only 2 defenders) and their coach who were in York University's team in St. Catharines where won 5-1. I checked the University's schedule and they play the next day and also at home so for sure those unavailable earlier players will appeare in lineup tonight. They can't use again reserve players because it will be abnormal - coach works with the team 6 months and then in playoffs use reserve players because more important is University's team? I don't think so...
York Region can talk about luck they won few days ago with SCT 1-0 because they didn't exist in the 2nd half but due to the good form of their goalie they took a clean sheet. Tonight will play for sure defensively, with 5 defenders in backline and 1 striker in front but it won't be enough for very aggresive (I hope) SC Toronto. As I wrote today with the best composition should have many situations to win this match and promote to the next round of playoffs.
*Fair odds - under this line there is no any reason to risk such small odds.

    Philadelphia Union - Toronto FC
Pick: Philadelphia Union (-0.75) @ 1.76 Ladbrokes | MEDIUM HIGH STAKE 7 UNITS

Home team after last won match with Seattle 2-0 on road will play the last match in season at home. Should be extra motivated because the win and in the meanwhile Kansas loss will let them stay in the 1st place to the end of the season. After injury will back their key goalie. For TFC this match is without any target, propably just for players who didn't play lately so much. At the moment everyone in a club and also fans talk about the match in CONCACAF against Dallas in Wednesday. The win there will put them to the final competition out of the Group Stage and it would a historical event for a club. I've seen interviews with their coach who don't want to talk so much about Dallas match, but about Philadelphia but deeply in his mind is for sure a big dream to win in Dallas. In the first match of both teams Toronto at home lost 2-6. I don't expect similar result this time but any other result than guests loss will be a little bit shock for me.

Well done BA good stuff :thumb

Right, regarding paying for tipsters (that have proven themselves), i've had a think about it
I understand cutting any work out by having trust in somebody else for a fee is good for those that want to gamble that way. If it's just a profit you want that's fine, and from what i've seen so far, BA's offer looks a good one.

Bit fucking boring though isn't it, gambling that way.
I spend about 4 -6 hours a week reading up on footie and checking odds, i love it, it's the only hobby i've got. Well that and wanking.
Those few hours i put in reading up are a hobby, it's not work, i enjoy it. I like to pit my wits. I like to come here and talk about it and read what other members are on. I know that if i fancy a bet in Wales i can turn to traeth, or in Spain Rcgills, or in league 2, ThunderCelt. There loads of good gamblers on here, to many to mention them all, between us all we know our stuff and we share it, for free!

I'm happy to follow BA here, he knows his stuff and will show a profit i'm sure but i doubt he'll get any takers on his offer from here. We're to good.

    Hello Punter

It depends who you are... some people don't want to pay for picks for anyone because they don't need it - they have their own selections, on the net there are many tipsters who share different informations for free and thanks that you can choose the tip which you want to bet. This let you to earn in short term, but what about a profit in a month/year? Many of those tipsters have negative balance in long term.

There are people who invest, investors who're looking for good paid service and don't have so much time to prepare yourselves to do it. Then he buy subscription and don't have to lose a time for looking because this service offers him selections.

I have big experience in sports betting, only soccer/football. I like write previews, have many contacts around the world and share it with you. Before I post an official bet, first of all I must check an opinion from someone who knows those things better than me, sometimes it costs me something (calls and time especially). For some informations I have to pay because you won't find them anywhere. Compared to my time and spent money it's not expensive price for a month.

Personally I'm not big investor who earn few thousand pounds per month. Usually there are small stakes, sometimes I don't play. Mostly I am focused in a job in betting company I need to stay calm everywhere and always, whatever last result I achieved.

Punter, have just read what you wrote and I agree with you. There are exceptions to what I previously wrote and one of them is if you treat it as a hobby. Also you mention 4-6 hours a week-well theres no real problem there is there.Thats how much time I spend as well.I also completely understand the point about pitting your wits-its no surprise is it that its 98% men who bet on football and the competitive nature of it ie trying to beat the bookie is perhaps the main reason.
Now BA I am in a very good mood as fleetwood got back to winning ways after a VERY disappointing 2 games-1-4 at home to newport AFTER taking the lead! so please tell me how I would go about paying for your tips?

I'd feel defeated if i paid for tips hotspur, daft as it sounds, i've got to have something to do from my arm chair :)

You've posted up some good write ups so far BA, in good English too. One thing i havent looked at is the notice you are giving before kick off times, what's the average notice of bet time to kick off?
