    Well i'm damned if i don't and i'll be damned if i do...and fail.
All prices quoted are from Pinnacle and they are what i got them at.All bar one are goal totals

    Italy Serie B
Hellas Verona - Virtus Lanciano :cry
    O 2.5 @ $2.23

    Poland Ekstraklasa
Korona Kieice - Pogon Szczecin :thumb
    Korona to win @ $2.08

    Spain - La Liga
    RCD Espanyol - Malaga :cry
    O 2.5 @ $2.12

    Argentina - Primera Division
Estudiantes La Plata - All Boys Floresta :cry
    O 2.5 @$2.54

Not advising anyone to bet on those. I bet in bulk with a high turnover to eek a small profit. These are just the football side of things. Feel free to jibe if they lose.

It was inevitable that i'd start with 3 losers and only one winner. Murphy's law 1 through to 100. Still not one to shirk, onwards and downwards.

    Italy - Serie A
    Bologna - I.Milan :thumb
    O 2.5 @ 2.13

    Spain - La Liga
    Levante - Granada :thumb
    O 2.5 @ 2.18

    Norway - Tippeligaen
    Molde - Rosenborg :thumb
    Molde Win @ 2.02

    Spain - Segunda Liga
Xerez Deportivo vs CD Lugo :thumb
    Xerez Win @ 2.17

    All prices from pinnacle

That's more like it. 4 from 4. Puts me in profit i believe. However, unlike some notorious poster, i won't claim a huge ROI, i won't claim that i'll make a huge profit or a profit at all. The very nature of betting dictates that everyone has a losing run. The following could just as easily lose,

    Greece - Super League
    Crete v Panathinaikos (O 2.5) for Game @ 2.65 :thumb

    France - Ligue 2
    Lens v Clermont Foot (O 2.5) for Game @ 2.30 :thumb

    Spain - La Liga
    Real Valladolid v Real Sociedad (O 2.5) for Game @ 2.09 :thumb

Another full boat. Must be my lucky day ! Nothing today. Cup games all around and i don't touch cup games. Too unpredictable. Thought about a couple in Italy B but than can be notoriously fickle too.
Climbing the hill of profit quite nicely but as we all know, when climbing hills there's only one thing to look forward to, the downhill !

Not American...god forbid. I'm an ex-pat living in New Zealand. I was born Birmingham hence i've always supported Arsenal (No explanation needed me thinks). As a proud Englishman, there's only one sport to follow is'nt there ? Spent most my youth in the stands at Wolves only because they were the closest Prem team (Old Div 1). Crappy team but great atmosphere. When Arsenal, were in the Midlands then i'd see them.
As for betting, i'm an ex mug horse racing punter. Turned to sports because i figured i could get better value. With only 3 possible results. I figured it equated to a 3 horse race. As time went by i narrowed it down to O/U bets because i then had a two horse race. How many two horse races do you see where you can get a value bet at Evens ? Actually, how many two horse races do you see ? Anyway, as time went by i thought i'd better start recording bets, from there i compiled a data base based on those results. Best thing i ever did and would urge everyone to do the same. It allowed me to see where and when i was most profitable and what projected winning % i should be looking for. The big change came when i applied everything i'd learned to Basketball. With Basketball i go Over/Unders total score. Only two possible results see. The beauty of Basketball betting is the points spread. You can get better than evens either way with only a couple of points spread. I'm waffling again, sorry.

Its funny because one of the things Ive paid for this season cost £40 and its a formula that has made 8% roi a year for some time now and its on the overs/unders and can be applied to any league!

I'm going to pm you my name anyway in confidence as I really do want you to see this...

Uh oh, looks like Yorkie is impressed! That almost certainly means that he'll be following these bets, which in turn almost certainly means that Rushin's profits are FUCKED :lol

    hi rogan ,
are you a follower of rugby union seeing as you are in hot bed of rugby union and the Autumn Internationals are coming up , we did quite well here in the rugby union world cup.
like you I spent a few years following Wolves , spent a few seasons on the south bank of Molineux in the early 80s whilst I worked in the midlands

Whoa whoa whoa boys, so i had a good couple of days which just happens to be the best run i've had for 3 months. As stated elsewhere, football is only a small part of what i do. To be honest i came close to dropping it all together at the start of the month. After reviewing my results and making a small adjustment to my data base i decided to give it one more go. It's not my main earner more like a little icing on the cake and i mean little. Of the sports on bet on,on any given month
    60 -70% is on Basketball
    20 - 25% is on Football
    10 - 15% is on Other
I don't normally look at S/R as they are meaning less. I prefer to look at profit rate. However my S/R for the last 3 months for football are,
    Aug - 49%
    Sept - 50%
    Oct - 55%
In that period my best winning run is 7, my worst losing is 8.
Total profit Oct at level stakes (1 pt per game) = a measly +12

Pressure ? If i could'nt handle the pressure then i shouldn't be betting. My weekly turnover should prove that..!

    Thanks for that Rushinrogan.

The great irony of the above post is that it makes me want to follow him more, not less,as its evidence that he almost certainly knows what he's doing.

Im sure everyone on here realises that wins and losses go in batches and that ,over the course of 2-3 years, a very long run of either is statistically almost bound to happen

LMC Tipster was kind enough to show us that:)

Er,so will you be doing basketball bets on here:unsure? Certainly hope so.

Opps, had to edit the last post. My maths were a bit off. it's 2.30am here and that my excuse. What i was generally saying was that Football profits make a small contribution to my overall profit. The point i was trying to make, pre edit, was that for the first half of the month i was well down then basketball really kicked mid month and now it looks like i'm ending the month well up.

Basketball post you say ? This going to sound lame but lets just say i post elsewhere and i'm under an agreement not to post those anywhere else. Not all mind only the best. So after this 4 week period i will put some up, possibly with analysis.

@Traeth, yes i do follow Rugby over here but rarely bet on it. Can't stand the All Blacks, a bunch of over hyped, over paid pretty boys (bit like footballers really). I prefer the provincial stuff. Much more my style. The local team is Otago.
So you suffered the Wolves too huh. Did you see the same therapist as me when you stint at Molineux was over ?
