The best Premier League predictor game on the planet, and the chance to win a million quid this season too!

Most of us here at Betnod all enjoy hitting this one. It's free to play and is worth giving 5 minutes of your time to each week.

I will be running a paid league too but for those not wanting to part with any cash this season, but are interested in checking it out, then this is the league to play in.

Join our mini league by clicking on the link above, signing up and then entering the code: FD72F-KCZ in the join mini league section.

    Good luck!

    Scoring
After every Game Week, scores will be calculated based on the accuracy of your prediction versus the actual outcome of each game. Points are awarded as follows:

    • 10 Points for the correct outcome of the match, that is home win or away win, but not the correct score, or goal difference or a draw between the teams. E.g. You predict Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea.
    • 15 Points for the correct outcome of the match with the correct goal difference but not the correct score. E.g. You predict Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea.
    • 20 Points for the correct prediction of a draw but not the correct score. E.g. You predict Arsenal 2-2 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea.
    • 30 Points for the correct outcome of the match with the correct score. E.g. You predict Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea.
    • -10 (minus 10) Points are awarded for an incorrect prediction of the outcome of the game. E.g. You predict Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea and the actual score is Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea.

In addition to the basic scoring system described above, there are three additional items that can impact your weekly score:

    1. The Banker - This is played on the game you are most confident about. The Banker will double or treble your points for this game depending on the Banker Multiplier (x2 or x3). E.g. You predict Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea and the score is Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea, the 30 points gets doubled to 60. It is also the same for an incorrect prediction, so if you predict Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea, and Arsenal win 1-0 you score -20 (minus 20). Only one Banker can be played for each Game Week of games.

    2. Insurance - Is usually played on a match where the player is not confident of the outcome. Guarantees a score of no worse than 0 points (zero) for that game. E.g. You predict Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea and Arsenal win 1-0, but you played Insurance on this game, you would score 0 points. Insurance can only be played once for each Game Week of games and not on the same game as your Banker.

    3. Banker Bonus - Is calculated based on the number of consecutive times you have correctly played your Banker. Each time (up to a maximum of four) that you correctly predict the outcome of a game (home win, away win, draw) you increase your Banker Bonus for the following week by 5. So if you have correctly played your Banker 3 weeks running, 20 points will be added to your weekly score. See Table 2 below.

    WeekBanker - CorrectBanker - Bonus

    2YES+5
    3YES+10
    4YES+15
    5YES+20

    I'm in.
Hoping to do better this season than I did in the Premiership last time or even the World Cup.

I made a mistake when I invited a very good friend of mine to join The Golden Parrot, which is a mini-league that I run. Unfortunately I gave him the wrong code and he is now a member of Malvern Prem.
Known legally as Mr Alun Elder-Brown, this player has been known as Slick since he was on military duty outside Jesus's tomb.
So when he saw that another player had adopted his monicker, Alun has amended his members name to SLICK Pathetic.
    Two Slicks in one mini-league!!

And to confirm the above, I've still have the final FF league positions for 2009

    That's good.
I will of course tell Slick Pathetic that you are doubled over with fury that a newcomer to Malvern Prem should usurp your good name. However Slick Pathetic, me and you all know that you are not a cheat, but if others think that way........ :punch

So I've made my predictions. Just confirm that we only have to type the thing in once, regardless of the fact that there is a paid and unpaid league - is that right?

Yep. I'll post up reminders about up coming pots in the paid leagues and announcing winners etc. You just have to fill in one set of scores a week.

Oh well I expect a home defeat by Man United will have caught everybody out and in most cases lose them their bonus.
And the sad news is that I'm one of them - sh(one)t.

I had bad weeks in the past but yesterday was a first for me: I'm bottom of every damn mini-league I've entered. Only just about managed to get the Arsenal win correct but that was a 90th minute scramble.
When final whistle blew I was bottom of table on page 1 of Malvern league. A couple hours later I noticed that I've been relegated out of sight to page 2. Curses to these newcomers grrrrrrr.
Ended last season on a downer and it has continued onwards to this one.
Only consolation is that my scores can only get better, but there again will they??

    Table after Gameweek 2

    Top 13 of 28

    Capture.PNG

Slicks pal Howson tops the table after Gameweek 2, jumping from 7th to 1st with a score of 145pts.
The Old Tom Cat was the weeks biggest mover, jumping from 26th to 10th.
I'm in danger of slipping on to page two. Early days.
