French Flat Season [2020]

Promising news today that the French are going to beat us and the Irish to be the first back racing again

So will put up a few horses to follow

1. Kazaktar

Told he had ability last season but though entered up as a juvenile did not run, so will be interested when the colt makes his debut

2. Silver Wood

Am a big fan of this yet to race grey's trainer Francis Graffard who had two Group 1 winners last season. Told that he thinks a lot of this colt

3. Durandal

Godolphin colt caught my eye when 3rd on debut when not getting a clear passage and running green

4. Winwood

Another Fabre colt who ran a remarkable debut race late last summer when a hot favourite, but completely missed the break yet recovered to almost lead over a furlong out before getting tired.

5. San Fabrizio

Thought this 3 year old ran two nice races last season when 4th & 3rd behind two decent winners

6. Edge Of Victory

Kingman colt who is with one of the top stables in France, and told he could be exciting when making debut on the track

7. Bonne Idee

She fell out of the stalls on debut when a warm favourite but ran on to take 4th. Expect this daughter of Frankel to be more streetwise this season

8. Shalamba

Aga Khan filly caught the eye when 3rd on debut after not getting a clear passage up the straight

9. Perhaps

Another yet to race Graffard horse, but told she is ready and able

10. Pioneer Of The Sky

She was touted as useful before debut in December, but was slowly away and ran free without no cover. So thought her run to finish 3rd was commendable in the end
