I'll be targeting decent h/caps and good priced horses. The aim is to back nothing under 5.2 on b/f. A bit about the selection method. I've cherry-picked some stuff from VDW that seems to work the way I utilise it. There will usually be 2-4 selections per race, backed to win only. I may take a price or I may just rely on bfsp. In any case I'll record to ONE point LS on each @ bfsp less 5%. Selections are in racecard order.

    Don 3.20
    Confessional
    Desert Law
    King Of Jazz
    Elusive Prince

    Asc 3.30
    High Samana
    Creekside
    Lexi's Boy (only a possible)
    Black Pond

    7/8 staked

Lexi's Boy won @ 3/1. I never got my b/f price so no bet.
    Creekside came 2nd @ 5/1.
So the thread is now down 7 points.
Today it's a competative Class 4 sprint at Redcar with 15 runners.

    Red 4.15
    Fast Shot
    Arganil
    Mr Optomistic
    Caranbola
    4 points staked

Arganil was a great pick. I'd have given it a very small chance of winning. Well done mate. Keep it in profit!!

What a day so far.
Had to go out quite early. Mild drizzle...not cold. Returned about 30 mins ago. Raging, bitingly cold wind blowing sleet all over the place. Soaked and frozen.
really just one race of interest today. May not get my price on one of the selections.. If the race is a loser I may look at the Thurles 6.45. It may be affected by n/r's later on though.

    Sedge 4.00
    Sublime Talent
    Kealigolane
    Art Broker
    Ebanour (may not get 5.2)
    3 or 4 staked

Kealigolane won that race @ 7/2. bfsp was 4.4. Ebanour turned out to be a n/r.
So, a net profit of 1.23 on the day.
Thread is now 22.58 points up.
Never bothered with the Thurles race.

    3 or 4 staked

I managed to get 5.3 for Camborne (1st) so it is a bet.
The bfsp was 6.14 so the return today was 5.88.
The thread is now 24.46 up.

It seems I made a mistake joining this forum.
Very little interest in horse racing.
    Ah well.

Just to clarify (if Ubique is still here), www.horsenap.com is part of Betnod, with a lot of the same posters, so Punter's not spamming some completely different site (in fact, it's linked in the menu bar at the top under "Horse racing tips").

I'm sure there was some reason for having a separate horse-racing sub-forum on Betnod when there's a whole forum devoted to it at Horsenap, but I can't remember what the reason was. As Punter says though Ubique, if you pop over to horsenap.com you'll find plenty of people that are interested in horse racing.
