Looks like there could be some tastey betting this weekend for once.
Everton caught the eye straight off, followed by Man City, West Ham and Fulham all to win.

Wigan might alos be worth a dabble at those odds maybe DNB because Swansea seem to have hit a brick wall at the moment and reports are coming out of a rift in the camp with Laudrup, the way Swansea are playing it wouldn't suprise me.

I've also got Spurs v Chelsea and Sunderland v Newcastle on my shortlist for a draw.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U should all win but unbackable for me at those odds because you know theres a banana skin amongst them just waiting to happen.

Since a 3-0 win in March 1967, Sunderland have won just two of their 22 home matches against Newcastle in all competitions :ohwell

It could happen at Old Trafford :) United players returning with International hangovers may be slow to get back into it, United have played 7 games in the league this season and are the only team remaining not to have drawn a game, today they play a Stoke team that are well known for grinding out draws, 5 draws out of 7 for Stoke so far this season.
    Draw 19/4 BetVictor.

Taken a pair of 2-2 draws today, though I've got a sneaking suspicion for Everton

    Sunderland v Scum (kick-off 1.30)
5 of Sunderland's 6 league goals (83%) have been scored in the first half while 7 of Newcastle's 8 league goals this season (88%) have come in the second half, so the value looks to be on the HT/FT market.

    7.0 Draw/Newcastle
    17.0 Sunderland/Draw
    34.0 Sunderland/Newcastle

Although I'd happily lose my dough if we can beat the horrible arrogant fuckers for once :crossfingers

Should be a few bookings, I can see a very physical duel between McClean/Simpson (they clashed last season, sparking a brawl), but for some reason the idiots at Betfair don't have McClean in their 'shown a card' market (although they do have Cattermole, who has been suspended for this game for weeks :duh) - he's 3/1 at Skybet while Simpson is 3.6 at BF.

Tiote seems incapable of playing a game without getting a yellow card and will probably again but no thanks at 1.63

Gardner likes a strong tackle and at right back is up against tricky winger ben Arfa and I can see him wiping him out at some stage and going in the book too, 2.58 at Betfair.

Forgot to add, fancy Cabaye to score today, 26.0 first goalscorer and 9.0 anytime.

Not a bad game in the end and the result was about right, Tiote getting sent off spoilt the game a tad but i suppose if you were a Sunderland fan you would have been doing cartwheels.
Both teams defended welll but Sunderland are becoming a bit one dimensional in attack and becoming easy to snuff out, another striker during the Jan transfer window wouldn't go amiss.

Sunderland's style of play is just awful, absolutely ZERO cutting edge in the final third. I think this season we have the lowest number of shots-on-target in all of the main leagues in Europe, or something. Our main problem today (and all season, to be honest) is Sessegnon - a fine player but clearly doesn't want to play for Sunderland any more. Hasn't scored for 18 games or something and basically made no effort today. When you get replaced by 34 year old Saha with 20 mins to go (who was shite even in his prime) and your team suddenly improves and starts creating chances for the first time in the game, you know you've had a stinker :lookaround

We have lost just once in 9 games this season and have the 3rd best defensive record in the Prem, but don't even look like scoring for 90% of our games and need a big shake-up or we'll be hovering just above the relegation zone all season.

Anyway, my HT-FT bets and booking bets were sunk but did get the 25/1 and 8/1 Cabaye scorer bets up, so a rare win on the football for me.
