Just had to double check those kick off times then as I thought they looked a bit odd, seems all matches are kicking off 7 minutes later to mark the 25th aniversary of the Hillsborough disaster..

I can't work out whether the added pressure is a good or bad thing for Liverpool, this game has the makings of something special, two teams that can't stop scoring from all positions with both averaging nearly 3 or 4 goals a game, you watch it end up 0-0.

Probably Liverpools biggest league game for 24 yrs. Nothing but a win will do. Cant see it.

I can Punt, since the money rolled in Liverpool are the only side I haven't seen us get the better of, we may have won a few against you but I've never seen us outplay Liverpool or come away thinking we were the better side as I have done against all the other top sides at one time or another.
I hope that changes on Sunday but the way Liverpool are playing I'll be surprised, the only thing that might work in our favour is players like Glen Johnson playing with confidence and pushing right up the pitch, if he get's caught on the ball he could put Liverpool in trouble because he's not the best defender in the world and has a habit of fouling when he's trying to get back, with City's pace; an early yellow for him could make him vulnerable.
Apart from him you look strong all over the pitch and I get more impressed with Flannagan evey time I watch him.

City are at their most vulnerable when pressed' like Bayern, Chelsea and Barcelona did to us this year resulting in mistakes at the back, Rodgers will have done his homework and I expect Liverpool to come flying out of the blocks at us closing us down quickly, the question is though can they keep it up for 90 mins or can they do what they did against Arsenal and get a good head start going into the break.
If we can hold firm until half time then the more I would fancy our chances in the second half of the game which is where we seem to get stronger as the other team tires from chasing the ball.
I'm pretty relaxed now but come KO I'll have no fcuking nails left.

Fcuk I see Twattenburg is the ref, I was hoping Webb might have been selected seeing as it's a big game, that's no good for us.
he's a cnut of the first order and we'll be lucky to finish the game with 9 men, expect another Gerrard pen or two.

Clattenburg's in charge Slick, i dont know if that's a good thing or bad thing, i just hope it's not a bad decision of his that decides the game

We're fully out of pens now, we've had a few since the turn of the year.

Looking at the other games Stoke look a decent bet I know they are now safe but they are the sort of side who want to finish as high as they can unlike Newcastle who now couldn't give two fcuks since they hit the 40 point mark, I was expecting them to be odds on considering Newcastles current form but I won't moan about that.

I'm also tempted by Palace who have hit the right form when it matters, a win against a very poor Villa side at the moment should see them safe for another season; my only concern in normal circumstances is that a point a piece would suit both sides but looking at Palace's run in they need 3 points from this game to settle a few nerves.

Loic Remy not fit so Newcastle worth opposing again (just ONE goal in 10 games without Remy this season). 21/20 Stoke looks too big.

Aye stuck them in a double with Crystal Pullis.City can win if they all turn up. Midfield is the big area of concern and my hope is that Pellers picks Milner and sticks Yaya in the no 10 slot with Sergio a lone striker.

Newcastle lose again and also fail to score. One goal in 11 games without him now :eek

I heard on Talksport Rodgers requested Webb not to ref the game after his performance with Sterling last time. Looks like that was media talk as I can't find anything on net, but it's a blessing. The man's a walking disaster. Apparently cocked up today and had what looked to be a "bent" game in the Champions league on Wednesday, not giving a pen.

It wouldn't be a shock to me if he lost his World Cup spot, if it's possible.

Hiya Beam. Yeah definitely glad it's not Webb. Clattenburg wont be frightened to make a decision, i just hope he has a good game and we're not talking about him afterwards

I was grey when it kicked off, I'm now white.

I think Rodgers rode his luck not changing the team when City took control in 2nd half.

Glenn Johnson is a tool giving away possession from a free kick in injury time.

Suarez probably wont get another free kick off a ref this season.

Ya Ya going off a big turning point.

Sturridge not putting the work in last couple of games.

I've done a double; Liverpool game +3.5 goals and Chelsea to win. I will gladly see that bet go down.

The way Sky carried on before the game you'd think the season had already ended with Liverpool as Champions. Assuming Chelsea win today against 10 man Swansea, they'll be up for the game at Anfield and it's still wide open.

I thought it was a cracking game although my nerves are now shot.
Once we got the two goals back it looked like we were going to pull it off and then for some reason Pellers brings on Aquero for Dzeko:thinking and then we seemed to lose momentum and not to mention our height up front.
Well done to Liverpool though who held on in there and never crumbled, If they do go onto win the title they thoroughly deserve it.

Great call with the score Swoop :clap

Unlucky Slick, i thought you were going to go on and win it. Silva was brilliant and James Milner should definitely get more game time. I thought City had the decisions against them this time, probably the referees association leveling things up from the reverse fixture.
