Once again, congrats to the Betnod League Cup finalists, Bonehead and Ben Davies, who will contest the final in Gameweek 10.
Unlucky to those who finished so close behind.

Here's the final League Cup Table..

7 Gameweeks now played in the league and it's all close still. Two good weeks could see you climb up several places, so those towards the bottom should keep going and put the pressure on the players above you. It's very early days and plenty can change.

It's the Malvern A.P.S. lads that are showing the way, with Ben Davies topping the table and that handsome bastard Kop66 just behind in joint 2nd.

It's also Been noted that the Cheltenham boys are starting to make their move too....Bonehead, The Old Tomcat and Stevestar all moved up the table this week. ODM also knocked in a good score this week with 85pts.

Player of the week has to be Traeth though, the Welsh Wizard was the only player to score over 100pts this week, some good predicting including a nice X2 correct banker on the Man Utd game see him finish the week on 115pts and moving up 6 places in the league. Well done traeth :thumb

Two more gameweeks see's the first Super Saturday, £50 up for grabs in gameweek 9.

I was going to reply saying I've seen tougher looking weeks, but on the basis that that would no doubt be the cue for me to end up with a minus score, I'm going to keep my mouth shut :lol

Every week seems to be a tough week, just had a quick look at last years prem league table after 8 games , expecting the scores to be higher than this years, but rather suprisingly there isnt much in it, if anything the scores are slightly higher this year.

I've been on it too much this summer, been getting in some right states, the body needs a rest lol.
Mainly financial though, i hate to mention Xmas in early October but it's better to be out getting steamed in December than October. I'm just keeping an eye on the bank balance tbh.

Good luck with the banker :thumb I did have mine on City 2-0 which i guess most folk will be on a City win but sod it, time for a X3

Tomcat and Slick leading the table after gameweek 8, well done fellas. It's all very close with the top 4.
Some decent scores about this week, none more so than Mark Tipton with 95pts, unfortunately it wasn't quite enough to see him move off the bottom, but another week like that and he'll soon start moving up. Well done Tippo'!

No fixtures next week due to international weekend but when we come back the following week, we'll all be playing for the first payout of the season, the first of 3 Super Saturdays. The rules are clear enough...

    Super Saturdays

    Highest Score of the weekend.

In the event of a tie, the £50 prize money will be shared

Are we all going for X3 bankers this week? We've got to haven't we?

I'm guessing (just guessing) that whoever lands the £50 will of hit a 90 pointer.
