No Ascot for me, but tagging my selctions on -

4:35 Catterick - LLEWELLYN - Not always the strongest in a finish, but has a recent win to his name and has a useful 7lb claimer booked. Plenty of form on the going aswell and EW chance at 12's.

5:30 Ffos Las - ISLA DI MILANO and YOU SAY WHAT - Nicely bred pair, with IDM hopefully proving much beter than his debut effort and YSW hopefully able to confirm his promise in Irish Points.

5:45 Catterick - CRAKEHALL LAD - Has won off higher marks and may just have needed it last time. Trip may also have stretched him and 1m6f does look his optimum. Visor replaces cheekpieces and maybe just a shade big at 12's.

6:45 Wolverhampton - EFFUSIVE - Fair efforts last two and does look nicely handicapped. Better draw today and really should be on the premises.

    Wolver 6.15. Spiritual Journey W&P @ 11.5/ 2.84

    40/60 split

Two Khalid Abdulah offcasts meet again and head the market; they my improve on their 2nd run in this country but they dont look particularly strong. Zain Time is another who is hard to gauge and the fact that nothing is strong in this market when it's such a poor race, makes me wont to look outside the front three.

Tipping up a 49 rated horse in a maiden is a bit crazy and she has an entry on Friday in a 0-55 classified which looks more realistic. This may be a prep for that race as she is off a lay off but her run at the track wasn't too bad and I'm hoping on a couple of market leaders bombing.

Could have gone for the 4TBP market, but do think she can make the frame

7:45 Wolverhampton - CAPE WRATH - On a long losing run and still not sure about his best trip. Not beten all that far last two however and down another 5lbs. Polytrack debut the only possible plus, but possibilities of out - running his price of 50's.

8:15 Wolverhampton - MY REWARD - Not won for a while, but is holding a decent level of form Front running did not seem to work last time out and at least is down 1lb for it. Won his only other AW start and have to say I don't get the early 14's

    Wolver 7.45. Know Your Name @ 4.7
    Depth Charge @ 4.1

    60/40 split.

KYN has won on the surface and looks to have improved on recent turf runs.

DC looks progressive and unraced at 2yo, but I do have a slight concern from the inside draw for a hold up.
