Nope, out from 1.7 to 2.26 on betfair. Still short with Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea all breathing down their necks. Just because Liverpool have bottled it in the recent past and Spurs and Arsenal just haven't looked like serious contenders, doesn't mean that history will repeat itself. Last season has tought us that.

At the prices, I'd rather be backing Liverpool or Arsenal at 5/1 than city at 5/4

Fucking Gundogan, I fucking love him, lol. Slick, in case you missed my post in the weekly football thread, the bloke made me £116 on Saturday and another £100 tonight. Did you say he doesn't score many goals? I think you'll find he's got double the strike rate of Aguero in the last two games :roll

Downside is, I'm not going to get any sort of price on him in future games. Exactly the same happened when they signed that holding midfielder the other year. What was his name again? Yaya something or other.

Gundogan's back after 8 months on the sidelines, be like having another new player in the squad.

Reports now coming in that City in for Johnnie Evans lol, Howson will be pissing himself.
At first I thought 'fcuk off!!' but thinking about it, it's not as mad as it sounds considering we are short of CB's, even more so now Pep seems to be playing 3 at the back.

Pep supposed to be a genius and yet the twat is actually considering Evans (and that has-been Alves before that). Genius my arse. I could have won more trophies with the money that City have spent over the last five years than any of the clowns have so far.

He'd better shape up cos I've backed the cunts to with the Prem this year (savers on United througout the season). Also backing them AND United for European glory.

Going to be Manchester's year this season I reckon.

Great news about Gudogan. I'll be on him from the start

    Neil Warnock makes me laugh...

Neil Warnock has described Cardiff's preparation for the fourth-round FA Cup tie against Manchester City as easy because he has not had to get the ball out.

'It's been the easiest week of training,' Warnock said.
'We've just been chasing shadows to get used to it.
'We've haven't had a ball out at all. It's been great.
'We've just been throwing up a few pieces of paper in the wind for the players to chase.'

    :lol

Well done and congratulations to all proper Wigan fans though, hope it doesn't fcuk up your promotion push.

    To you Vinny :beer

The best Captain for City I've seen in my lifetime and a true gent.
I'm pretty sure he'll be a success at Anderlecht but if not fcuk it, he can lace up his boots again for us because he's shown lately he can still do it and :crossfingers he looks over his injury problems that have blighted him these last few yrs.

They've been after us for a long while Punt, they've based their case on hacked emails where the hacker is now in prison accused of extortion, wouldn't be surprised to see us reinstated when it goes to CAS but mud sticks and their smear campaign means we'll be classed as cheats no matter what we do.

United fans are getting giddy sending me messages tonight taking the piss, don't know why as the only United fans that will benefit are Sheffield ones:lol

Even with a two year ban we'll be back in it before they are:lol

    That's a worrying read.

I'm not sure what FFP actually achieves. When it first came in i thought it was put in place to protect clubs from being stripped or made bankrupt by owners.
What's wrong with having billionaire owners? You can only play 11 players?
How many other sports have FFP? I know Saracens have been relegated for breaking wage cap rules, that's another that comes across as being a crazy rule to me.

FFP came in under the guise to protect the likes of Portsmouth when in fact it was brought in to stop City and their ilk challenging the elite of the football world who have been creaming it in for years.
It basically means nobody forever can challenge the top teams in Europe because FFP makes it impossible to invest more than them, yet these top teams can be up to their arse in debt and nothings said because they sell more shirts.

They'll spout Leicester as what can be achieved 'The right way' , an anomaly that has never happened previously in the Prem without money and probably will never happen again.

Personally I don't give two fcuks about UEFA, since City came into money I've seen how corrupt they are and witnessed it first hand in CL matches, the Prem title will be first and foremost in most City fans eyes hence the booing at the CL anthem.

At least we got in before the gate was shut and will come back, FFP means there will never be another City and the likes of Newcastle and Leeds etc etc who are in a similar position to us before the takeover will never get a chance to see those highs.

Good. Cunts.! Newcastle have been the most underachieving club in the entire world. They've had 60 fucking years to make a go of it with their massive support in a one-club town and they've fucked it up. They deserve fuck all.

Leeds. Well, you can't think of Leeds without thinking dirty, cheating bastards at the same time so God forbid those cunts will ever become any good again.

I take your point though and as a ABU, I'm just happy to have lived long enough to see City make United become irrelevant.

Wasn't the greatest game in the world and the Cherries were very unlucky not to get anything from the game.
In the end I felt quite sorry for Eddie Howe because on a different day it could have been so different as they should have won with the chances they had.
