Very sneaky because when you submit your predictions b4 5pm Friday no matter how many fixtures the Million pound popup thingymebobby appears.

Howsons predictions have appeared now, are they still automatically filled in? because if they are he's done well out of it.
He must have filled them in because I've noticed people getting no points for no shows, funny though because he's not even on the newsfeed.

When I looked at his predictions earlier it was all blank. I think the ones that have been filled in are automatic, looks like they're based on the most popular prediction in each game.

For people getting 0pts for no shows, I think it's people who've had more than a certain number of no shows, there's one in our league I think, can't remember his name and am having trouble getting on the site, seems to work for a couple of minutes and then go down again, it's been up and down like a whore's drawers all afternoon.

It's a piss take, 4 correct scores for a no show and the chance of making more out of his banker bonus in the next two games.

Not to mention the guranteed nil poit.

If they're going to give people a chance when they forget, then that's probably the fairest way to do it. Personally I don't think they should do it though.

It's not just that, our own in house comps like the CL has just been totally fcuked up.

I don't really think there's anything to decide in terms of Howson and the Champs League comp. The competition is basically run according to the rules of the Talksport competition, and those rules are that players who don't enter any picks appear to get the most popular prediction in each game. Some weeks it gets you 120pts, some weeks it gets you -20.

Personally I think the problem is in the fact that the competition fills in missing predictions like that, I'd prefer it if people were just left to score 0. But we can't really go manually adjusting scores, it be a monumental ballache for Punter and Newman running it, having to 1) check every week who didn't submit scores and 2) manually adjust their scores and produce a new table (as they'd no longer be able to use screenshots).

Nothing to worry about Howson. You've been playing 4 or 5 seasons now? First time you've missed your predictions in that time as far as i remember. You owe nobody nothing if you win.

It's the system that's shite. I had to pay out £50 to someone, who like yourself had been away and never misses, for highest score in any one week, last season. It fucking riles me. It's a shit rule. I'm tempted to knock it on the head next season and see if Top Tipper is still going instead,

As RC mentions nobody is blaming you Howson and we are playing to Talksport rules, we should have learnt our lesson last year because it's twice this has happened now.

On a lighter note, if you end up winning the quid in work you can fcuk off!!

Howson if you've not used your banker bonus tonight on moral grounds hats off to you.
