There’s some exciting Horse Racing taking place this week with five days of high class action from Royal Ascot to look forward to from Tuesday to Saturday.

The first of the week’s eight Group One races, the Queen Anne Stakes, takes place on Tuesday, as does the St James’s Palace Stakes, which is expected to attract a number of runners from the English, Irish and French 2,000 Guineas.

Wednesday’s highlight is the Prince of Wales Stakes ahead of the historic Ascot Gold Cup on Thursday. Some of Europe’s finest three-year-old fillies will be lining up in the Coronation Stakes on Friday whilst the meeting concludes on Saturday with the Diamond Jubilee Stakes and Hardwicke Stakes.

The bet365 Price Promise will apply from 10am on all five days, with prices constantly updated to ensure that you get the best price on every horse running live on ITV Racing. This offer only includes races shown live on ITV Racing unless otherwise stated by bet365. Best price or joint best price will be matched from the following list of Bookmakers: Ladbrokes, William Hill, Paddy Power, Coral, Sky Bet and Boylesports. Offer applies to bets placed on Win and Each-Way Fixed Odds markets only. All other markets, including Enhanced Price Win Only and Enhanced Place Terms markets that are priced separately to the Fixed Odds market and Tote/Pari-Mutuel (bets and dividends), are excluded from this offer. Races covered by Price Promise are also available for Best Odds Guaranteed.

That’s not all, at bet365 you also have the chance to earn risk free bets with the ITV Racing 4/1 Offer. Back any single winner at 4/1 or more on any race televised live on ITV Racing and you can have a risk free bet to the same stake (up to £50) on the next race broadcast live on ITV Racing. If your risk free bet also wins at odds of 4/1 or more, you qualify for a risk free bet on the next race televised live on ITV Racing. Keep backing those winners and bet365 will keep giving you risk free bets! If your risk free bet loses, your stake (up to £50) will be refunded to your account.

Not original but do think Ribchester is a banker for the Queen Anne tomorrow @ 1.83 [Black Type]

The price plunge is purely down to it being tipped by Hugh Taylor of Attheraces. Don't know if you've heard of him but it's a bit like Pricewise but magnified by ten. Bloke has made a massive profit with his tips for the last eight years in the row and the bookies shit themselves when he tips one. It wouldn't take a massive amount of money to move the antepost market simply because they aren't no runner no bet. There is a betting plunge on every horse he tips.

FYI, his tip for the Queen Mary on Wednesday is Heartache which is 11/2 from 20/1

No i haven't heard of him but i'll look out for him from now on.

For me though, tipsters aside, it's the trainer that counts and he says in good order. With comments like...

    12/1, 1/4 odds, 4 places, sounds like there's some e.w value there.

Just for info', in case anyone is interested, he's given his bets for day one and they are:

305 The Coventry Stakes Rajasinghe 14/1 and 500 Endless Acres 16/1.

Got a few for the opening day, all at big prices -

    2.30 - 4 places with Bet365, so picked 3 outsiders -

    OH THIS IS US
    at 28's
    TOSCANINI at 100's
    KASPERSKY at 66's

3.05 - PRINCE OF THE DARK and CONNERY - POTD won nicely on debut and the form looks solid enough, Could easily spring an upset at 20's. Connery, is way more speculative as his debut 2nd was pretty ordinary. Stables can improve greatly for a run and whilst unlikely to improve enough to win here, could easily out - run his price of 150's.

5.00 - SUEGIOO - Always a danger in these staying contests and looks a fairly decent EW shout at 25's.

5.35 - JAMES GARFIELD - Put up this one 3 weeks ago on debut and after that happy to go with him again. Was weak in the market that day and then conceded a ton of ground out the stalls, so overall did very well to take 3rd. Obviously aiming very high today, but for me, the 33's just looks too big.

I'm on Oh this is us with you Samoan and I agree that Prince of the Dark could outrun it's price with a decent draw. I've looked at three races in depth and I've ended up more confused than when I started but I was hoping to pick out a few at 16/1 and over to give me a good run for my money.

230 Race. As good as it is, there's no way I'm backing Ribchester at a price like that in a race like this. The draw and the ground are the reasons that most would cite for going against it but the price is enough to put me off alone. I am already on Muttakayeff (currently 13/2) and Oh this is us but ENNAAD strikes me as a good shout at 25/1 (I'd prefer the 20/1 with 4 places that Betfred are offering). DEAUVILLE is just under the prices I was aiming at but at 14/1, it represents a value bet to me, especially given that the price is likely to fall when the punters on track see Ryan Moore's name against it. This is one of those races that I could back ten horses in (and still not get a place:lol) but you can't back 'em all and so I've stuck Lightening Spear on my reserve list should Muttakayeff not run for any reason.

305 Race. Another race that I could easily land on the side of half a dozen. These meetings are not ones to be investing a lot of money in in my view. I'm on Rajasinghe (see above discussion with Punter) and De Bruyne Horse. I see that money is coming for Ryan Moore's Murillo (best priced 6/1) which could easily go off favourite which O'Brien having won half of the last six runnings of this race, is easy enough to see why. The two I like each wasy are DENAAR which, at 12/1 is drifting in the betting but I can only put that down to the fact that punters have heard that a certain L Dettori is no longer going to ride it. If that is the case, I can only assume that they are unaware of the fact that Pat Smullen is a better jockey than Detorri these days (yes, I really did say that). Anyone who backs this at 12/1 may well find themselves on 16/1 shot come the off. The other one from way, way off left field is CHOOKIE DUNEDIN at a massive 100/1 (four places). You should be able to back it at double figure prices to finish in the first five on the exchanges. One run, one win, means that it comes into this race under the radar but the trainer wouldn't be putting it in for a laugh.

340 Race. I can understand why Marsha is fav and this has the potential to be a really good horse but I like SIGNS OF BLESSINGS at 13/2 and drifting. On a generally tricky card I think this represents a very good bet. Excuses have been made for why it hammered one of today's opponents in France but excuses are easy to conjur up and facts are facts. The ground may be against it but we shall see. PRICELESS is one of my tracker horses but that's not the only reason I'm highlighting it for a good ew bet today (at 16/1, 5 places with Skybet). Draw is not ideal but comments from the trainer are positive. Trainer and jockey won this race last year for those who take those kind of thinks into account. ALPHA DELFINI is the other one at 25/1 (four places). Has potential to improve, has a good draw, likes the course, likes the ground and, if that wasn't enough, has a visor fitted for the first time today. My view is that the fitting of headgear can often mean that the trainer is frustrated with a horse and is running out of ideas but there has been nothing wrong with all but one of its last runs in the past year and it could easily run well and even win this race.

    Wednesday's " Rags " -

2.30 - BARRINGTON - Genuine outsider at 150's and probably not up to this level. Did win his Windsor Novice however and top South African jockey Gavin Lerena booked.

3.05 - DARKANNA and MISSY MISCHIEF - The former improved greatly last time, but needs to improve again at 100's. MM showed promise on debut, but this is a tough assignment for a non winner on 2nd start. Gerard Mosse keeps the ride however and cannot completely rule out at 66's

    Thursdays Picks -

2.30 - FROZEN ANGEL - Got shuffled back a bit before finishing well in the National Stakes. Can't afford such a lapse in this bigger field, but course win reads well and can go close at 10's.

5.00 - THE GRAPE ESCAPE - Lightly raced and whilst edging up the weights, can eke out more improvement at 28's.

5.35 - MISTER MANDURO and BEAR VALLEY - Gone with the Mark Johnston pair at 12's and 22's respectively as do think both have more to offer.

Haven't had many fancies this week as it's just too hard, especially with the draw bias flip-flopping on a daily basis thanks to them over-watering one side to try and even things out, only resulting in them creating a bias on the other side

Today looks just as tough as the previous 4 days, actually it looks nigh on impossible, so kudos to anyone who finds a winner or two today.

    4.20 - COMICAS (ew) 40/1
First thing I noticed about this race is the lack of early pace, which is most unusual for a Group 1 sprint. Quite a few of the horses prominent in the betting are best at coming off a strong pace (MAGICAL MEMORY, LIBRASA BREEZE, THE TIN MAN) and the fav LIMATO has to prove his well-being after a dreadful run in Meydan last time (connections blamed the ground).
Worth going for a big priced one here methinks. COMICAS was campaigned solely at 7f until his last 4 races when he's been dropped back to 6f. He's improved around a stone for this trip change, with 3 fine runs in Meydan (including a 50/1 2nd in Group 1 company), before a decent 3rd at York on this season's reappearance. The ground was probably a bit soft that day, he was badly drawn and also did best of the early pacers, so a very decent return.
He can hang to his right so being drawn far side is a plus and if he can grab the lead and the rail I reckon he can go well for a long way and looks well worth an each-way bet at 40's. Bet365 go 1/4 odds and 4 places (10/1 a place), SkyBet go 1/5 but 5 places (8/1 a place), or Betfair go 46.0 win, 7.2 four places and 5.0 five places.

I'm also having smaller bets on fellow outsiders ACLAIM (33/1) and DANCING STAR (28/1) and had better do small fc's and tricast's with the 3 in case a miracle happens :p

*just seen Samoan has gone for ACLAIM and WINDFAST, I did have WINDFAST marked off as a possible longshot so will add that one to the fc's and tricast's :thumb
