I've no problem at all with footballers moving to different clubs to further their career - Henderson for example would have been mad to turn down Liverpool - but Bent was so full of bullshit, I know Villa are steeped in history and have far better form in recent years than Sland, but at the time when Bent left us we were 6th and Villa were 3rd bottom or something....he dropped us in the shit big time, which is why he is so hated up here.

The fact that not long before his move he was kissing his Sland badge and saying he wanted to be a legend here multiplied things about 20-fold, like
