Thought I had mentioned this before, but must have forgot. Currently Half Time in the Rugby League international being played in Colorado, with New Zealand being 12 - 10 up. Obviously the main talking point is the venue ( and of course the altitude and temperature ) but the States and Canada are co - hosting the 2025 RL World Cup, so would assume more games are in the pipeline.

American football markings on the field and the lack of crowd atmosphere make it an interesting watch and the momentum is with the English who have come back from 12 down, to trail by just 2.

Game is live on BBC 2 with the second half due off at about 10.25pm

Comfortable for England in the end coming out on top 36 - 18. Tommy Makinson and Jake Connor both had top games off the bench, but not many bad performances in tough conditions. Worst effort of the day probably came from the " singer " in the pre - match who was frankly an embarrassment. Her timing was off for both National anthems and most of it was in the wrong key. It pretty much sounded like she had not heard / practiced either and was just singing the words off a sheet. Have not seen it on YouTube yet, but somebody is sure to put it up as it was so cringeworthy.
