£300 isnt going to go far - id get rid of the league cup too Newman, for the same reasons you mention, its too early in the season.

    How would this work:-

    League winner £100
    Runner up £50

    Champions League winner £50
    Runner up £30

    FA Cup winner £40

    Top weekley score £30

If you look on the IKTS overall leaderboard, there's only half the number there was last year too, so percentage wise we're doing better than talksport.

Doubt it, probably has more to do with the website being shite and crashing when more than a dozen people are logged in at the same time.

Yeah, something along those lines looks about right to me. 10 players, and 6 chances to win a prize, seems reasonable.

Best to have prizes of at least £30 like Newman says, also makes it easier when it comes to next season (if the comp runs again next season) in that anyone that wins a prize can use the money to pay for next season (as opposed to winning £25 and having to mess around for the sake of a fiver).

If we're not running the league cup after all, might be an idea to delete it from our list of mini-leagues, it's still on there, listed as running from gameweek 3 (last weekend) to 7.

I've just re-read rules for Christmas Cup:

    Betnod FA Christmas Cup
This competition will be started and run as a 4 week league (no knockout stage, who ever finishes top of the league wins the prize money), in the run up to Christmas, Gameweeks 13 - 16, with our points all starting at 0. It is a winner takes all competition that enables even the player at the bottom of the BPL League the chance to find a bit of form and bag some prize money, being paid out just in time for Christmas.

In the event of a tie prize money will be shared.

Just want to make sure in my own mind but will scores be identical to the weekly Predictor site which perhaps includes Bonuses for some and perhaps not for others.
Previous years Betnod used Predictor scores so I'm assuring nothing has changed.
[It would anyway be difficult to separate Bonuses away from regular scores.]

And here I would like to make a suggestion that next season Betnod perhaps look to another site where Bonuses are not carried forward which can distort mid-season competitions.
For that end the best predicta site I've come across is Predict the Score http://predictthescore.net/index.php
I've been a member of it for years and recommend it and not because I'm 11th overall :)

As you say, Newman, it would be an absolute pain in the backside trying to separate the bonuses away from the main scores. I don't really see any problem with the bonuses being included anyway - the rules are the same for everyone. Some players will start with an advantage, but I don't think it's an unfair one.

For the Predict the Score competition, having to predict scorers as well would be a bit too much hassle for me. The IKTS is nice and simple, who do you think's going to win, and where are you going to put your banker and insurance chips. For me personally, having to look at team news and give some thought to who I think is going to score would be enough to tip the balance from "fun competition" to "more hassle than it's worth". Guess it may be different for those who follow the Premier League more closely, but as a fan of a lower league team, my interest in the Prem goes no further than having a quick look at the scores.

Have to agree with RC in keeping the comp as simple as possible.
If anything The bonus ball and guarantee chip is what let's IKTS down as anybody can strike lucky but in the same breath I suppose it also gives everybody a chance of clawing their way back into the running when all looks lost.
