Free cash Komp 2019/20 - Rules and scores thread

I know this is boring but please spend 5 minutes reading it and raise any questions or issues in this thread.

Pick 5 teams selections per weekend. Win bets only. Bets may be from the 1X2, half-time/full-time or under/over 2.5 goal markets. Matches must kick off and end between 18.00 Friday night and midnight Monday (UK time). Selections must however be posted no later than midday on Saturday (UK time). Please note that this is a new rule and Selections posted after that time will not be counted. We are aiming to get the fixtures up thread open by Monday night so there should really be no excuse for not posting by that time and therefore this rule will be strictly applied this season

Points will be scored for each match as per the profit you would have made from a £1 single bet. 5 winning selections means that your total score is doubled

All odds must be taken from bet365 and winners will be settled at the prices posted at the head of the weekly posts (or screencaps provided if odds are not on those posts), regardless of any price fluctuations.

As a new rule this year, instead of taking the odds from the top of the thread, players must add their 5 selections to a Bet365 betslip, and then post a screenshot (using Snipping Tool or similar) showing their selections and the odds at the time of selection.

There is no lower limit to the odds that you can pick but you may like to bear in mind that, for scoring purposes, you DO NOT receive your point stake back. At the other end of the scale, you can choose teams at any price BUT, the maximum points that you can score from any individual game is 6 (to be doubled as normal, should you get 5 out of 5 selections correct).

To create a fair and level playing field should any odds increase or decrease by plus or minus 3 points due to unforeseen circumstances after the odds have been posted then this match will be void unless your pick was made before the unforeseen circumstance.

Matches can be from any league, however, if the match is not listed in the odds posted at the top of the weekly thread, you must stipulate which country and league the game is in and you must post a screencap of the odds (taken from Bet365). as long as it kicks off within the permitted time range.

NEW RULE. Two new markets will be allowed this season and they are the half time/full time result and the unders/overs market. If you select one of those (you MUST post up a bet365 screencap of the odds or your selection will not count). If you genuinely cannot get access to Bet365, pm myself or Slick and we will try to get the odds up for you. The odds that we post up will be the odds used regardless of any fluctuations since you made the selection. Likewise, If you think that you're such a football genius that someone may try to steal your tips, feel free to pm them to any mod to post up after the cut-off.

In another change to previous years As last year, there will be no separate thread for your pics. They will need to be posted in the weekend football thread. In order to make them stand out, please post them in red type. We would like to generate a little more match discussion than previous years, hence putting up the fixtures earlier and using just the one thread so please add any thoughts that you have on your picks or any other games.

Where a player mistakenly puts down two teams who are not playing each other that weekend, the selection will be void unless clarified before the cut off time, regardless of whether the odds appear to suggest that they intended to select a different game.

Any selection that you have made which is subsequently postponed can be replaced before the end of the weekend. If you are not able to post a replacement selection before the end of the weekend you will normally be allowed an extra selection the following week. However, please note that should you be in contention for a five-fold, any replacement pick must be to at least the same odds as the postponed selection. Should you nonetheless wish to post a replacement at lower odds than the postponed selection, you will no longer be eligible for the double points in the event of achieving the 5-fold.
