3.35 Pontefract - DARKANNA - Back with Richard Fahey after the one run in Qatar. Has kept pretty could company and of definite interest based on juvenile form at 20's.

5.20 Tramore - BRIDEVIEW WEIR - Not disgraced in either hurdles runs and now trying her hand in a Bumper at 100's.

12.25 Vaal - DREAM ON - Decent debut 3rd and can hopefully improve for that at 10's.

2.15 Vaal - GREASEPAINT - Not at his best lately, but now lurking on a handy weight at 14's.

2.55 Vaal - GIVEMEHOPE - Never really in contention last time, but still got within 7 Lengths. Generally better at this trip and looks a possible " dark horse " at 33's.

4.05 Vaal - EIGHTY FOUR - Stable also has the FAV, but EF hinted at ability on debut and immediately switched yards to a very shrewd team. Possible big improver at 33's.

6.10 Sligo - VARKHANN - Looks a pretty weak contest and this one ran okay in a Flat handicap on Saturday; each-way shout at 16's in a first-time visor.

5.35 Kempton - JUMPING CATS at 12's

2.25 York - PACINO - Probably aiming a bit high here, but still some EW appeal at 40's.

3.25 Chepstow - MESSUA - 3rd run today, so could be waiting for handicaps. Promise in both runs to date however and not sure the 66's is justified.

4.30 Chepstow - ALMONTASER - Extended trip looks fine at 14's.

5.30 Killarney - ANCIENT SANDS - Remains in good form, even at 10 and fair chance at 14's.

7.30 Killarney - GUNFIRE REEF - In fair form and got a decent pull with the 2nd FAV. Certainly should prove competitive at 10's.

11.55 Vaal - SAKURA - Much shorter price last time and has a squeak on best form at 33's.

12.15 Turffontein - PLAY THE NIGHT - Lightly raced overall and on 3rd run back today off a fair break. Weighted to beat a couple of these on recent running and does look on a fair mark. Plum draw to boot and definite EW chance at 12's.

12.40 Kenilworth - SCOTTY TEE - Only newcomer of the 7 and a couple already look exposed. Does look quite nicely bred and 28's to the 2 places and 18's down to 3rd.

1.35 Turffontein - EFFORTLESS - Bit to find with a couple of these, but much better drawn than either of those and remains in fair form. Handicapper continues to give him a chance at 10's

11.40 Turffontein - JET TO PARIS and SCHENGEN GAL - Pair of outsiders at 33's and 40'd respectively.

1.30 Goodwood - QUICKSILVER at 16's

5.15 Windsor - GLOBAL ARMY - Complete no - show on debut, but bred to be better, so don't mind taking a chance at 150's

5.25 Redcar - THE BIG HOUSE - RUM LAD looks the sensible one at 7's, but TBH is nicely bred and did show a bit in both previous runs. Possible improver at 80's.

6.00 Redcar - MECCA'S GIFT - Modest form in 2 starts to date and may just be waiting for handicap's. Nicely bred though and upped in trip today, so still of interest at 20's.

Sunday 26th August

1.15 Greyville - JET STREAM - Draw not ideal, but should improve for debut run at 10's.

2.25 Greyville - JE SUIS SILVER - Just below her best last twice, but come down the weights a bit for it. Slight ease in the ground not an issue and could surprise at 14's.

3.35 Greyville - RIVERBOAT QUEEN - Disappointing effort last time, but had been on the go for quite a while. Back off a well earned break today and has gone well fresh, so definite EW chance at 16's.

4.10 Greyville - SEA SPONGE - Lightly raced sort who is seldom beaten far and for who the shorter trip will suit. Down to a mark of 62 today and really should be thereabouts at 10's.

4.50 Curragh - MOLLY KAYE - Number of rags in the field and for me this is the most likely of those at 50's.

5.10 Deauville - ESHAAN - Better effort last time and looks to be on a fair mark at 12's.
