7.15 Wolverhampton - DUBAI ONE and AREEN HEART - Both available at 9's, so a slight non qualifier for the thread. Do expect both to go well.

Was looking like a poor day, but then EQUAL SUM won at 20's ( other 2 poor ) and ASTROPHYSICS was 2nd ( got to the long term leader near the line, but just got chinned by one finishing faster. Both in the 7.15 were stated non qualifiers for the thread, but the market was very volatile and both did briefly trade at 10's. Managed to get the 1-2 and the forecast certainly made the cut at £69.25 ( shocking Exacta at only £39.50 )

7.45 Wolverhampton - PETTIFOGGER at 20's

8.45 Wolverhampton - KING OSWALD and DUTCH ARTIST at 10's and 25's respectively.

2 slight drifters in the last, but King Oswald won at 12's and got the handy forecast with Dutch Artist running on nicely for 2nd at 33's

Sunday 2nd December

5.00 Sha Tin - PROUD SKY and TRIUMPHAL WIN - Early start with these 2, who are both 10/1 shots.

5.30 Sha Tin - VIRTUS STAR - Oisin Murphy booked for this one, who did improve on 2nd start and can improve again at 20's.

7.00 Sha Tin - TRAVEL SUCCESSOR - FAV is odds on and not sure there is much strength in depth here. Hoping TS can improve for the switch to dirt at 16's.

12.35 Fairyhouse - GRASPING AT STRAWS - Put this one up as one to follow after a decent debut run. Bit surprised he is thrown into this company so soon, but can certainly jump better and Rachel Blackmore booked, so took the early 33's.

9.45 Sha Tin - JOLLY CONVERGENCE - Basically could not resist at 100's.

12.25 Carlisle - HUNTSMAN JOG and BLAYDON at 10's and 40's respectively.

12.35 Fairyhouse - CLUTCHING AT STRAWS - As mentioned above, but now at 66's.

12.55 Carlisle - VICTORIA SAYS - Has won on the ground, likes a slog, is fairly weighted and has a good conditional up. Fair EW shout at 11's

2.40 Fairyhouse - SHANESHILL - Bit to prove in this field and not getting any younger. Still not sure he should be 40's though.

11.10 Scottsville - TIN FLYER and KIRAV'S TUNE - Fives Wild looks the sensible one at 6's, so straight win with this one. TF and KT are both 100/1 shots, but can go 80/1 for 5 places, so EW's on this pair along with a combination forecast.

1.00 Scottsville - BOURBON BOUQUET - Back off a short break and hopefully been refreshed by that. Upped in trip, but hopeful on that score and has the form to get involved at 10's

1.35 Scottsville - BALTIC AMBER - Likes it here and has a fair shot at the weights at 12's.

2.10 Scottsville - VIENTO - 3rd run back, but tends to take a couple of runs to warm up. Has form in decent company and has 2 wins and 2 places at the track, so certainly not out of it at 40's

3.15 Scottsville - GEOGRAPHE BAY - Solid enough form at this level and has a good draw to work with at 10's

Monday 3rd December

3.30 Plumpton - CARRICK ROADS - On The Slopes, looks a more sensible options at 7's, but CR is nicely bred, represents a top stable and is coming back to action having had wind surgery. Certainly would expect better today at 40's.

3.45 Wolverhampton - TRULOVE - Hopeful rather than optimistic at 100's.

4.15 Wolverhampton - HORNBY - Patchy recent form, but is on a good mark based on decent Lingfield 3rd.

5.45 Wolverhampton - ZAFAYAN - Change of headgear for stable debut and hoping he can find some of his Irish form at 20's.

6.15 Wolverhampton - APEX PREDATOR - Not sure about the step up to 2m, but happy to go with this one at 25's

Wednesday 5th December

2.50 Happy Valley - PEOPLE'S KNIGHT - 7f winner at Sha Tin last season but the subsequent 5lb rise stopped him cold. Not really looked like a winner recently, but is now 2lb below last winning mark. Good jockey booked and nice draw in 3, so could make an impact at 66's.

3.20 Lingfield - MADAME MALINA - Nicely bred newcomer at 16's.

3.30 Haydock - SUPERVISOR - Another debutante, this time at 12's

3.55 Kempton - SHUG - Certainly bred for speed and stable does well with its juveniles. Interesting newcomer at 25's.

7.15 Newcastle - FAKE NEWS - Did look impressive earlier in the season, but question marks currently as not so good since. Hopefully been refreshed by the recent break at 20's

6.45 Newcastle - MOUNT CHEIRON at 50's

7.45 Newcastle - SPOKEN WORDS at 66's

8.15 Newcastle - FUEL INJECTION at 28's

Thursday 6th December

10.40 Vaal - PETITE AIME - One of the more exposed sorts, but decent form at this sort of level and whilst vulnerable to the younger runners, still has EW appeal at 33's.

11.10 Vaal - THE MACKEM SLAYER - Poor last time with the blinkers on, but these are left off today and first 3 runs without the headgear read quite well. Interesting runner at 25's.

12.10 Vaal - GENTLEMAN ONLY - Solid recent form, well weighted and has a nice draw in 2. Fair EW shout at 14's.

1.45 Clonmel - SHANTOU SISU - Bit in and out, but lightly raced and respected on best efforts at 11's.

2.00 Vaal - LEE'S PICK - Versatile as regards tactics and recent runs all fair efforts. Drop back in trip looks fine and could easily get involved at 14's.

3.40 Wincanton - AUNTIE NELLA - Quite nicely bred newcomer and happy taking the chance at 80's.

9.00 Chelmsford - MONARCH MAID - Useful on his day and could well try to make all at 14's.

Friday 7th December

2.40 Greyville - AMBERBELL - For me, better than odds of 40/1 suggest in this nine runner event.

2.55 Fairview - HANDRE THE HERO - Drops in trip and best recent form has come with this stable jockey up. Shade big maybe at 33's.

3.20 Greyville - CLANCY - Only tired late in trial run and can improve for that at 50's.

3.55 Greyville - MISTY HEATH - Quite nicely weighted and best form has been on the Poly at 16's

5.05 Greyville - LADY LUMIERE - Improving slowly and hopefully can take a bigger step forward today 1t 16's

5.35 Greyville - SEA SPONGE - Might just prefer the turf, but chance on recent form at 12's

7.05 Greyville - THE KING OF RANDOM - Edging down the weights and also drops in class today at 12's

7.05 Greyville - Adding PLAY THE NIGHT and TIGER'S BOND for the FC / TC
