12.10 Vaal - THE RUSSIAN SOLDIER - Shade disappointing to date, but best run was his sole effort over c & d. Bit to find overall, but not sure he should be the early 50's.

1.10 Vaal - TORIO LAKE - Seems to have found his form again and last 2 runs have been for this jockey. It is also Calvin Habib's only ride of the day and certainly has enough going for him at 10's.

4.35 Thurles - ICY INFERNO and MIDNIGHT MASTER - Pair of lively 50/1 shots for the Bumper.

12.50 Fairview - SESS - Been a while since this one showed, but has form off higher marks and in better company. Front - running tactics have not really worked, so would be interesting if ridden with more restraint at 50's.

10.25 Turffontein - CHOUETTE and OCEAN'S PRIDE at 10's and 33's respectively.

11.35 Turffontein - TEJADA - Rested and gelded since last run. Certainly bred to do better at 33's.

12.45 Turffontein - TWICE A CHARMER - Jockey in cracking form and feel this one to be better than previously shown. Improvement at 14's would not surprise.

1.20 Turffontein - PURDEY - Remains in pretty good form and not that much to find with the FAV at 14's.

1.40 Naas - MELMAN - For me this is the best of the " rags " at 100's

3.05 Turffontein - SEATTLE TANGO - Blinkers left off and has the plum draw to aide his front running tactics. Best form also this track at 14's.

3.40 Naas - PUNCHES PIOUS - Odd piece of form gives this one a squeak at 50's.

11.25 Scottsville - SASSY QUEEN and MISTY HEATH - Do suspect this will go to newcomer, but both of these have shown form and while neither is the most consistent, do hold chances at 33's and 40's respectively.

12.00 Scottsville - JUST NATS - Lightly raced 4yo, on 3rd run back off a break. Green on all 3 starts to date, but has shown ability and step up to the mile should be fine. Interesting EW shout at 33's.

1.45 Punchestown - LIGHTNING TUNES - Switch to the Cross Country fences can hopefully have he desired effect at 100's.

2.50 Punchestown - DARK DECADE - Not a lot in either start to date and asking a lot of him to win this. Nicely bred however and with the right trainer, so comfortable risking the 66's.

2.55 Scottsville - JUMPING CASTLE - Moderate debut when slowly away and green but rises in distance on track debut and probably capable of better at 40's.

8.15 Kempton - KING OF ROOKS at 10's

4.40 Kelso - FERLOCH - FAV sets a decent standard, but happy with this nicely bred newcomer at 28's.

8.30 Chelmsford - KILBAHA LADY at 20's

2.50 Fairview - FANFARE - Remains on a fair looking mark at 20's.

6.00 Dundalk - FASTTIDIOUS at 10's

8.15 Kempton - ALWAYS AMAZING - Money for KRAKA, now 13/2 and can give this one a real chance. Rather be with AA at the prices though, as is on a nice mark and the 20's available today is vastly different to last time, when he went off FAV at 2's.

2.35 Turffontein - TALKTOTHE STARS at 14's

4.10 Turffontein - CATHEDRAL COUNTY at 10's

4.40 Turffontein - TWO OF US at 12's

5.10 Turffontein - CATEGORY FOUR - IDEAL DAY looks the sensible one at 6's, but have long felt CF has the ability and is a possible improver at 66's with the blinkers added.

5.40 Turffontein - OCEANIA and ANDIAMO - FAV looks a bit short to me and 2 of the dangers are non runners. Both picks have form in short careers to date and do feel one / both can improve at 10's and 12's respectively.

2.55 Flamingo Park - HERODUS - For me, a bit better than 50's suggests.
