It must be over 25 years since I did overtime, not that I don't want it, just that the buggers stopped offering it.
HR you see, employ 10 times as many people on how to save money, hit the overtimers who produce something so the savings pays their wages while they sweep the benefits under the carpet cause they produce fcuk all.

If I worked in the Private sector; we'd have died a death, let me think:thinking....ehhm 25 yrs ago.

Been a quiet Bank Holiday for me, Moans has been in bed since Friday night with some sort of bug and my daughter is spending the weekend at her boyfriends.
That just leaves me and the dog (who seems to be on the mend by the way with the constant fcuking crying finally stopping) to do as we please.

I don't know how people cope with being able to get pissed at any time of the day and order any takeaways they want from the likes of 'just eat' , while be able to watch anything they want on the telly all the time having the laptop on to have any bet you want without any distractions, not to mention the Frankie Vaughn.

I'm struggling that much that I've had to open a new box of wine while waiting for me and the dogs megga bucket of fried chicken, fries, onions rings, coleslaw, beans, gravy and garlic bread. with a free bottle of coke to boot for my whiskey, all for under a tenner with free delivery.
How you single guys cope I'll never know.

Extra large special mixed kebab and curly fries tonight from the same place as last night because the food was good.
I usually get my kebabs from the local indian takeaway and they're smashing, they look like an Elephants leg they're that big but I had one of them on Saturday night, I'm just comparing for future reference.

Moans is still upstairs in the sick ward living off soup and water lol. she's gonna go fcuking apeshit when she sees all the takeaway wrappers in the bin.

I have a freezer stocked up. My pet hates are kebabs, any pork products and a gin and tonic.

Tell you the truth I've only been eating Kebabs for the last 12 months or so but I've now realised I've been missing out for the last 50 yrs:lol

I've read that a few times, and I'm still not sure whether you mean that it was only 12 months ago that you started eating kebabs, or that for the last 12 months or so you've been eating nothing but kebabs :thinking

    My names not Howson lol.
The former, I've only first started eating Kebabs about 12 months ago, I'd had one or two throughout the years but they were all donna and a bit naff from Greek or Cypriot takeaways so I steered clear of them.

On the off chance about 12 months ago, I wanted a change from the local Indian so tried a mixed kebab (Donna, lamb Tikka, Chicken Tikka, and Sheesh) in a nan rather than pitta with chilli sauce, raita and salad.
    I've not looked back since.

I don't often have them but you can't beat a kebab. I once ordered the 'special mixed' kebab from the local and i kid you not i got the meat sweats eating it. Fucking marvellous it was. Next time i ordered it i queried why they put 2 nans in and that was when they pointed out it was for 2 people.

Been on call for the last 3 weeks so I've not had any bevvy. Had pager over this afternoon so this weekend better watch out. Going to have a decent bet on England to beat us at the footie as we are shit. Honestly thought England would be 1/2 but 7/10 really tempts me for large bet.

Wife's been in hospital since Monday, suffering from non epileptic seizures. Bag of nerves as all the specialists are struggling to work out the cause.
