Just wondering if anyone saw the cross country race form Pau yesterday ( Sunday ) and what everyone's thoughts were. General opinion was the jockey " took a dive " and having seen it just a couple of times, it did not look good.

I just watched it and i can only assume that he was shot by a sniper.

Authorities need to look in to who was laying it?

By the looks of it, not enough money matched on Betfair to suggest anything improper going on, but unless he had some sort of medical episode, hard to come to any other conclusion.

The stewards have cleared Lefebvre of any wrongdoing.

After reviewing video footage and taking into account the jockey's own testimony they concluded the fall was down to the horse veering to his left.

Interestingly, back in December Johnny Charron was handed a 15-day ban after an 'extraordinary' ride which he asked for next to no effort in the closing stages and was beaten in the final strides. In this case as with Blason D'Or, the trainer was Gabriel Leenders.
