    Celtic – Shakhtyor Karagandy



    Celtic will host Shakhtyor Karagandy in the second leg between them from the play-off round of the Champions League. The game will be played at “Celtic Park” in Glasgow on Wednesday evening. In the first match, which was held at “Astana Arena” in Astana, the team from Kazakhstan won with 2:0 and thus got a comfortable advantage before the second leg. So far in the tournament this season Celtic eliminated Cliftonville Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Elfsborg (Sweden), while Shakhtyor Karagandy eliminated BATE Borisov (Belarus) and Skenderbeu (Albania). My opinion is that the Scottish team will succeed to win the second leg. Celtic should to score at least two goals to have chances to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League and I think that the champion of Scotland is capable to overcome Shakhtyor Karagandy. I predict a victory for Celtic with more than one goal. Shakhtyor Karagandy is with 1 win and 1 loss in their visits in the Champions League this season, while Celtic has 2 wins at home.
