Cricket T20 World Cup 2016

Preliminary stage begins today, with Ireland and Scotland both involved. The Big Boys enter the tournament next Tuesday, with hosts India taking on NZ. Not a lot for me in the outright market, so instead sticking with various player bets -

Must admit I put the Roelof van der Merwe bet on assuming he was playing for South Africa. Admittedly it has been a while since his last international appearance, but he is a useful all rounder, who could have snuck into the squad in Indian conditions. Turns out he has actually switched his allegiance to the Dutch team. Obviously the negative is the weaker squad, but the big positive is that he should play in all their games. For me, the Dutch now have a fair bit of fire power and are the most likely of the " rags " to make an impact. To this extent have had a couple of quid on at 1000's.
