I always like Japan's version of 'I second that emotion' by smokey robinson. I didnt realise how 'cheap' David Sylvian actually looked mind.

Cowboy Junkies doing neil youngs powderfinger was always a fav of mine

I'll leave it with you all. Ive been too outgoing and im starting to take over and bore folks. Too much interaction for me to deal with.

Thats the song that my sister got married to Winrew. I was always up my own arse about it as i think This Mortal Coil where a 'made up band' by a record label. 4am poss. I remember a few compliations of them when i was young with folks from heaven 17 etc on them. They where quite 'happening' at the time. sorry 4AD i think they where called. Bauhaus might have released some stuff on the label. My brother and pal used to really rate the 'This Mortal Coil' album. I thought it was 'gay' lol (im joking)

Gonna listen to it again now youve posted it mind winrew. My mind tonight is bigger than me as is anyone that frequents online forums. Hope you and yours are well too winrew. Actually i have to tell this......

ive got 2 neices. One is 4 the other is 3. Theyre both a bit mental in their own way but far from being stupid. The 4yr old is a bit fat and loves snacks whilst the 3yr old is skinny and is just defiant for defiaance sake. The other day at my mums i was in the front room and i heard this wee voice 'katiya ask uncle ross for an ice lolly'

I looked at the door and it was the older one pretending to be the younger one asking her to ask me for an ice lolly. I near shit my pants in laughter at the 4yr old ones plan to get ice lollies. They both are a breath of fresh air to a family thats just had to deal with suicide and fall outs. I can almost see why folks chose this path of kids and full time work. Aye it certainly keeps the ball rolling and makes new important things. i see that only now.

Anyone got a 44" chest and likes retro leather jackets? I gave 5 away one night after an alcoholics anonymous meeting i went to and ended up on a 2 day drink and drugs binge.

Ive still got 2 black leather box jackets, a great sheepskin and 2 short brown retro leathers. Too small for me these days and im never going back to a 44" chest. Free to anyone that can give them a good home as their too cool to get rid of by any means and i cant be fucked with ebay etc.

ah hah winrew. You'll like this if you aint seen it. I downloaded the full event the other week and this stood out to me. Get the whole thing on torrent by searching 'Neil Young MusiCares '

not watched it since but i will now and im sure it will stand up again even though its an 'easy' cover. I think Neil even starts to enjoy it.

I gave both said neices above an electic guitar (kids sized) with speaker and a ukulele made from rosewood not cheap shit. I showed them both how to pull faces whilst bending strings and finished off with the fogerty performance above on the big telly. They both loved it and wanted to be wee rockers themselves after seeing folks 'rocking in the free world'.

aye they can put their fists in the air and shout KEEP ON ROCKING IN THE FREE WORLD even if thay cant even put their fingers on a simple string to do a one note guitar lead chorus.

A microscope and telescope is the next thing im gonna push on them. Maybe by when their 9yrs old my interpretation of Einstein's theory of special relativity will blow them away and give my life worth lol

baws ive spent the last 20 minutes looking for my cigs for a rare joint. Really putting me off my stride tonight it is. I must try and be 'mindfull' in my search. Just as i 'mindfull' when i look at porn and 'mindfull' when i take really nasty drugs. The nasty drugs have all gone thank god. I wont be ordering them again. I'll leave study aids to the kids in future.

There should be a website that you can go to to beg a local cig. Might be one but probably not. k i only have 2 rooms. cigs have to be in one. Do i have a cover song to get me through? lets try this old internet classic...
