11.05 Fairview - PERFECT SYMMETRY - Short break since fair debut run and gelded in the meantime. Certainly should improve at 8's.

12.00 Turffontein - FLIRTY GIRTY - Possible improver at 50's.

12.30 Turffontein - TI GAR - Backed this one on debut on Wednesday and turned out again quickly after showing promise. 100's on debut, but only 25's today.

1.05 Turffontein - DIVA FAUSTINA and OCEANS PRIDE - DF unlucky to still be a maiden and every chance this field at 11/2. OP bred to be better than first 2 starts indicate and small EW at 66's.

1.40 Turffontein - TILBURY FORT - Definitely has the ability and hoping that the recent gelding has had the desired effect at 9's.

2.20 Turffontein - GLAMEROUS SCANDAL - Mike DeKock 3rd string and bit to find at the weights. Well worth a try this trip though and definite EW appeal at 33's.

2.55 Turffontein - WONDEROUS CLIMBER - Stable 2nd string and bit to find on balance of form. More than capable though if things fall right and fair place chance at 20's.

4.50 Turffontein - WINTER'S FORGE - Below best lately, but weighted to finish a lot closer to the top 2 in the betting and is capable of better form on a going day. Fair EW shout at 16's.

5.30 Turffontein - QUEEN OF WAR and PRINCE OF SWORDS - QOW showed a bit more last time and is getting weight from the majority of these. Probably needs to improve again, but bred to do so and could easily get involved at 14's. POS is the trainer's only representative on the card today and was only just behind QOW last time. Bit to find with the protagonists, but does possess speed at 25's.

6.10 Turffontein - MAWJOOD - Nicely bred newcomer and this top stable has had a good day already. This one is their 2nd string, but still appeals at 8's.

5.30 - Apologies, should read PRINCE OF SIBERIA

Win for TILBURY FORT and 3 places, including one at 22's and one at 25's, so small profit on the day.
