10.40 Vaal - CHESTNUT'S HERO - One of the more exposed of these, but is improving with every run and does possess plenty of speed. Nicely drawn to attack, so decent outsiders chance at 50's.

11.10 Vaal - PANTULA and SEVENTH SON - Couple of the newcomers warrented attention, but gone with these 2 speedy sorts instead. Pantula ran well on debut and looked a threat on 2nd start before the saddle slipped. Definitely has scope at 11's. SS is exposed, but has looked a decent sort to date and has the first time blinkers today at 20's.

11.45 Vaal - BANANA REPUBLIC - Touch outclassed in a competitive line-up recently and her conqueror Covered In Snow boosted the form with an impressive subsequent win. Shade big possibly at 12's.

12.10 Vaal - STREET FLYER - Best recent effort came on this track and has a win and place from just 3 goes at the trip. Does look the pace in the race and could try to make all at 10's.

2.10 Vaal - SABRE DANCE - Has a smart track record and the four-year old receives 17lbs from the FAV. He also jumps from a good draw and can certainly get involved at 9's
