Regular live Wednesday action on ATTHERACES from both South Africa and Hong Kong this lunchtime -

12.05 Greyville - PAVAROTTI PASSION and SAIL THE BAY - Fair trial effort form PP and looks the main danger to the odds on at 7/2. STB is more exposed than most, but had a fair comeback run and will strip fitter today at 25's.

12.15 Happy Valley - GOOD COMPANION and GLORIAM - 12th of 12 for GC in each of last 4 runs and ironically drawn in 12 today. These are all big negatives, but is taking a drop in class today and good young jockey booked, so cannot ignore a class dropper at 14's. Gloriam has shown ability in his trial races and has the first time blinkers added. Nicely bred, well drawn in 2 and Neil Callan booked, so has the potential to upset at 40's.

1.20 Greyville - GOOD LORD PADMORE - Plenty of promise on debut and certainly bred to be decent, so happy taking the 7's on offer.

1.55 Greyville - ROSE OF PERU - 11th last time out on turf ( not beaten that far ) was actually a decent effort, with the form looking solid. Does look more of a Poly horse however and returns to that surface today and has a good draw to work with at 12's.

2.30 Greyville - BLAZE OF GOLD - Poor on h'cap debut, but would have needed it and did open up short that day. Nice draw in 3 and will strip fitter today, so could easily get involved at 20's.

3.35 Greyville - FREE STATE - Career began with form figures of 1124323. Not so good in 5 races since, but penultimate effort offered hope and does not look over - burdened off his current mark. Remains risky, but this is reflected by the 25's on offer.

Poor in the first at HV, but already could not lose on the day as SAIL THE BAY had already won at Greyville. Sadly Pavarotti Passion dumped his jockey behind the stalls and was not allowed to race. Not only was it a 20p R4, but with the FAV disappointing in 2nd ( every chance ) I would have fancied a shot at the Forecast.

    12.40 Greyville - Going with the following 3 -

INCOMODATION ( Pretty solid lately. Draw the only slight concern at 8's )
VESPER ( Tried without blinkers today and odd piece of form has him bang there at 28's )
VELVET GLOVE ( No show on debut, but cheekpieces added and bred to be decent, so a possible improver at 66's )
