Live action begins at 12pm on ATTHERACES, with the early coverage emanating form both Hong Kong and South Africa.

Starting off with the first from SA, which is out of coverage -

11.25 Kenilworth - DOUBLEMINT and TRON - FAV has had his chances and not for me at odds - on. Going with this pair of newcomers at 12's and 50's respectively.

11.25 - Little pre - race mention for LE MER at 66's so adding that.

12.05 Kenilworth - Going with 3 EW shots here -

BIKINI MODEL ( Much Improved on second start and has scope. 20's looks generous to me )
JOSEPHINE BAKER ( Debutante who has the worst of the draw, but was an expensive purchase. Interesting at 33's )
JADE ORE ( Nicely bred newcomer from a decent stable. Shocked to see 50's on offer )

12.40 Kenilworth - STAR OF LONDON and DOUBLE BLACK - Another pair of debutante's at 7's and 10's respectively.

1.20 Kenilworth - MR MCGUIRE - Big drifter last time and blatantly failed to settle. Did well to get within 4l given the circumstances and this is only his 5th race today. Sticks at the trip and should go well at 10's for a jockey that does well for this stable

1.55 Kenilworth - CHESTNUT'S CHARM - Improved for this trip last time and a similar effort has him going close at 10's

2.30 Kenilworth - SANDY BAY - Took way too long to win in Maiden company, but h'cap debut suggests there is more to come. Short at 3's, but tough to argue that price.

3.40 Kenilworth - MOUNT KEITH - Not so good last twice, but best recent effort came over this c & d and is down to a good looking mark. Fair EW shout at 14's

2.05 Listowel - Going with 3 in this Handicap -

ALL THE MOLLIES ( Hopeful about the draw in 15 and bred to go on the ground. Fair chance at 10's )
VANDERBILT ( Hinted at ability for his previous yard, but yet to get going this year. Capable of better, so happy risking the 20's )
    ALGEBRA ( Lively outsider at 50's )

2.10 Carlisle - ADMIRAL ROOKE and ACROMATIC - Don't think we've seen the best of AR yet and money around today. Currently 6's. The other pick has hinted at promise and has been gelded since last seen. Step up a real possibility at 16's.

3.10 Carlisle - ICONIC CODE - Modest form when fourth in couple of runs last month; improvement required, but hoping the heavy ground can do that at 20's.

3.35 Listowel - LEAN AND KEEN - Not much wiggle room at 6's, but is potentially well h'capped back on the flat and has won on the ground.

4.30 Uttoxeter - BORDERLINEDECISION - Capable of fair form and was going well last time until tiring late. Drop in trip therefore looks justified and every chance at 9's.

5.40 Carlisle - ELITE ICON - Longer trip should help and does look dangerous off bottom weight with a decent 7lb claimer booked. Bit to find with the 2nd FAV, but not sure this justifies the 16's

Winners on 3 continents and also procured the FC in the Kenilworth 12.40. Rule 4 on the Uttoxeter winner, but not sure what happened in Carlisle's 5:40. Did get paid out at 16's, so no idea how it ended up at 4's ( opened 11/2 )

9.10 Kempton - TUSCANY - Sole 2yo start suggested the ability was there and not disgraced either on seasonal return. Ran no sort of race last time, but that did qualify him for h'cap's and that, plus the step up in trip and the first time blinkers, make this one difficult to ignore at 40's.

Apologies as well for the pick. Tuscany was slowly away and never looked like being put in the race. Hopefully I won't be lumbered with this one, but might just give him one more chance

Did not give TUSCANY one more chance and so the inevitable happened today. Not as big as last time, but still a bit gutting at 16's
