I'll be devastated if we dont hold on to a CL spot, Slick.

You've got my mate worried in this competition (paid league). He keeps telling me he's going to win it, i keep telling him that you will :lol

lol, still a long way to go, everybody seems to be picking more or less the same results now so it's going to come down to who can get the most correct scores in.
I'd say this weekend was a leveller though as everybodys banker bonus must have been reset to zero surely. saying that I've just had a quick glimpse and the guy on the top of Malvern Prem hasn't used his yet and he's on a 20 point BB, if that comes in he'll take some catching.

The way Liverpool are playing Punt and looking at the fixtures I wouldn't rule them out of winning the league, win the games you should and beat City and Chelsea at Anfield then it's game on, even more so with no European football.

No way Liverpool can win the league Slick, just no way. We can beat some top teams along the way but lose some stupid ones too.

Looking thru the fixture list, Liverpool could very well end the season as champions. Most of their games against the top teams are at home. But already this season we have seen bizarre results, with home bankers getting shot out of the water.
Realistically any one of the top four teams could end up as champions although Chelsea have moved into prime position.

Only 8 games tomorrow. Sunderland/WBA missing from list.
Provisionally I am going for the following:

Everton/WHU - home using insurance chip
    Fulham/Chelsea - away
    Hull/Newcastle - home
    Stoke/Arsenal - away
    Southampton/Liverpool - away
    A Villa/Norwich - draw
    Swansea/C Palace - home
Tottenham/Cardiff - home using bonus chip

For those of you who watch my results be warned that last week I had the least number of points in most of my mini-leagues.

Come on people, you're not going to let a bird win this are you?

I cant post the table up as Imageshack are now charging and i'm not prepared to pay for it. Anybody know of a good alternative site?

Layout's not the greatest, but if you just copy and paste the table directly into here it works. Need to delete out all the position change arrows, the country flags and the club logos though, as it won't let you post a post with more than 20 images, apparently.

    Thanks Reg,
I've been trying to do what you managed to do but without much success.
Pain in the butt deleting all the add-on bits so appreciate your efforts.

No worries Norm. You and Slick are getting away from me, need to up my game again I think. Although that very late goal by Everton did you both a big favour :hissyfit

Though you used a trimming tool Punt.

That late goal by Everton did most people a favour I reckon RC, just need a correct score banker bonus between now and the end of the season to get amongst the front runners.

    Reg,
You managed to record 45 points on the Southampton game and prevented as minus score on the Swansea/West Brom game by use of Insurance chip. That's better than me.
The overall scores are so close that although we don't stand much chance of winning, Slick, you or I could end up as best of the rest.
And yes an awful lot of players were sweating on that late Everton goal to retain their bonuses. In my other mini-league it was 7 players out of 10 who placed their bonus on this game. Somebody else placed it on a Chelsea away win against Villa!!

Yes, I didn't do too badly in the end. But if Everton hadn't got that late goal, it would've cost me 20 pts (from +10 to -10), but it would've cost a lot of other players 60pts or more (from +30 to -30, plus any bonus points they got from it). Still, that's the way it goes I guess, it's also true that Southampton got their 4th goal very late too, and that was worth an extra 15pts to me. These things all balance themselves out I suppose.

Now then, decision time - Man City v Fulham, Arsenal v Swansea or Liverpool v Sunderland for next week's bonus?

Think you're getting your conversations mixed up, Slick, when Punter was talking about trimming tools he was referring to his pubes.

All three games are x2. Bit early in the week for me to check the weekend games but provisionally I think I'd place bonus on the Man City/Fulham game although Everton/Swansea for x3 looks a better scoring punt.

No Punt, just use the 'upload a file' option when you post; it's next to the post reply option.
