This is Lions final start at Ford Field this regular season. They finish with trips to what will be a cold and windy Chicago and then what they hope will be a divisional decider in an even colder Green Bay, they are coming off two wins where we have sided with them in both and also spoke about their target of getting to Lambeau Field still "alive". Notes from both are included in last week's preview, which is reproduced below. This is a divisional match up which always means added spice and they can expect no favours from the visitors, but the Vikings offense, such as it is, is all about the run and that is where the Lions are so strong. They kept the Vikings to under 70 yards on the ground in that game and scoreless through three quarters, with the hosts only scoring a filed goal late in the game. Detroit went into that game with a terrible record in Minnesota, without both Reggie Busgh and Calvin Johnson and missed two field goals and still won very easily, this just looks a very good match up for them in a must win fixture and I have no desire to desert the Lions.
