Are Sheff United a bit short priced? Good start to the season and top of the league but Huddersfield are no shop eggs either and convincingly beat a Tranmere side on Saturday that had previously only been beaten once.

Too short I reckon. Huddersfield should be worth at least a point.

Similarly Chesterfield are too short at the same price. A typical knee-jerk market reaction to them winning their first game on Saturday. Have they suddenly become world beaters? It's true that Bury have conceded a hat full recently but they've only lost one out of three away from home (their home form is what's letting them down) and, again, I think they're worth a point.

I do not understand that price on Sheff Wed!
23/10 @ V.C bet for them to win away at Stevenage. They have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 4 matches, including a draw and win in their last two, against leaders Charlton and MK dons.
They did start slowly with two defeats from their opening three games but that form has long gone

Stevenage form doesn’t add up to much, they’ve had a couple of draws and one win at home so far this season but they’ve not played anyone who I’d consider promotion possibles.

It’s a price worth chancing for me.

I can't see much in L2 that catches my eye. On Tuesdays there's usually an in-play option at this level that you don't get at weekends so I might have a fiddle during the evening. However, a couple of longish shots for fun for very small stakes:

I don't make Cheltenham such long shots against Torquay. Cheltenham away ain't set the world alight, but on the other hand neither have Torquay at home. I don't give Torquay quite a 50% chance of winning against a side who looked okay and surprisingly resilient (considering I've tipped them for relegation :duh ) at Aldershot a couple of weeks ago, and I'll take Bet365's evens for Cheltenham +0.5. Cheltenham beat Torquay in the JPT not long ago, although in fairness the teams were probably different to what we'll see tonight.

Hereford have only scored three goals in the league, and Aldershot's strength is our defence (at least, our strength certainly ain't our attack!) and we've only conceded a goal a game so an Aldershot Clean Sheet at 7/4 with Bet365 appeals. It's a bit risky as Hereford have a couple of hightly rated young forwards on loan, but the price still looks slightly long - unless Punter can talk me out of it before kick-off! Under 2.5 might be a more realistic option, but the price for that looks very short.

Macclesfield v Morecambe- Going to have a punt on Morecambe against a Macclesfield side still missing Waide Fairhurst (Ankle) and Tom fisher. (Knee Ligament) Theyll be buzzing after destroying Crawley and should be able dispose of macclesfield

I wouldn't want to try and talk you out of anything in L2 TC. Hereford not to score wouldn't surprise me, we do have a better keeper now than at the start of the season (played very well at Villa and then went on to keep a clean sheet at Bristol R) and seemed to pick up but it didnt stop us from shipping 3 at the Shrews the weekend. Apparently we didnt deserve that result though.
Tbh i havent got a clue how the game will go and i cant even wish you good luck luck this time around :)

Still just Sheff Wed for me tonight, no way should they be that price imo.

GL with that one Irish_ace, that was some sort of result for Morecambe the weekend and there are definately the surprise package in L2 so far.

    Thanks Punter :)

Aldershot's price has price has shortened significantly over the last 24 hours to the point where I think the value's gone (in from an attractive general 7/4 to a best 8/5). Vic Chadler is offering Hereford at marginally better than 2/1 now and while I think/hope Aldershot are the stronger side :crossfingers I think the *value* is with the hosts (covering the draw) now.

Pleased with my match betting even if it was 'only' a couple of units each, but countered by several of my ante-post hopes failing to cover themselves in glory :banghead
