The price for Burton is coming in following a threat of a players' strike at Plymouth, and several bookies have taken the game down. Plymouth have promised to put out a team no matter what, but it might be reserves and youth.

If you think the strike will go ahead and Plymouth field a weak team then the remaining price (best 4/5) looks decent value. If the strike doesn't happen, then it's possibly not...

rotherham at 15/8 with a hedge on 1-1 and a smaller hedge on 2-2 will do me

Aye, I'll be taking Rotherham and covering the draw too. Leon Clarke looked a good signing according to locals here in Swindon, but with him not playing after his bustup I can't see Swindon any more likely to score than they have been in their previous few games.

Rotherham of course have lost La Fondre, but his replacement should be useful and I'd expect their firepower to tell. But I'm covering the draw as Rotherham have probably let me down more than any other club!

Slightly speculative, but I've had a very small punt on Luke Guttridge anytime scorer for Aldershot at 5/1. Luke drives forward from midfield and already has two this season. He also scored eight last season, all this side of new year when he got more license to go forward.

So, an outside bet but not quite 5/1, either.

thanks,I wasnt aware of swindons goalscoring probs....so will have 0-0 onside as well, and an even smaller hedge on 2-2.
    (bound to be 3-3 now).
actually,a draw would be my favoured result due to money on crawley antepost.
(just got up in time to do an acca involving millers for prom, however)

gosh, the odds on 2-2(betfair)were LESS than the odds on 0-0!16v15.4.
0-0 probably value therefore, have also had 1-0 swindon..

Swindon will probably have surprised a lot of people, but I've not seen a report (only just got back from Aldershot :dance ) so I don't know how critical the sending off was. One from three for me today which isn't an acceptable strike rate, but I went big on Burton in anticipation of the strike (which didn't happen) so fluked a small pofit.

swindon played really well and deserved to win.on that performance they are a top 4 team.
I ended up making £60 on the game betting in running..as I bet more on the 2-2 when it was 1-1 at ht...and then layed it off...
