Makkadong a non runner so 98pts staked and three winners backed at 8/1, 7/1 and 9/4 returning a profit of 163 pts on the day and putting us +78.5 in profit for the season.

For what it's worth, I'd be surprised if be surprised if at least one of the bottom four below didnt win tomorrow so if anyone has been holding back from backing them so far and wants to dip in tomotrow, i wouldnt put them off.

Leicester 250 Black Bubba 20 pt win 7/2. This is no superstar and not one for the longer term but it's a consistent trier (if not a consistent achiever). Dropping slowly down the handicap but its commitment means it's only a matter of time before it's winning a race (Only unplaced in one of its last 7 races) and this is just the kind of race that could see it first past the post

220 Yarmouth Abaad 2.5 pts ew 16/1. Has had two runs so far, held up on both of them. Pulled in the last one and didn't seem to settle but ran on well once it was let go. A typical horse for this thread in that it's a case of seeing if it has improvement on it when the penny drops. Change of trainer but I think is likely to be ridden the same way. The kind that could surprise if it gets nice cover and settles. We shall see
